Been down for me since yesterday :mad:

Are they down for anybody else?

The actual servers aren't down, all submissions and confirmations are still working, but some buttfuck in Craig's server facility just killed his main website server and some other critical infrastructure.

Word is that they are now waiting for DNS to propogate before the website will be back up and running.

As I'm sure many of you are aware TGPWizards has been down since about 8pm last night. After talking with my host the problem turned out to be the datacenter they were leaving disconnect my server instead of another one they were supposed to.

Although one would think then they could just plug it back in...that wasn't the case. Instead from what I was told the server apparently disappeared somewhere else in the datacenter either being cannabalized or at the very least being reformated...whoever my contact was speaking with was unable to locate the server...to make a long story short due to what seems to be a clerical error....my server was disconnected and ultimately was reabsorbed by the datacenter for other purposes.

I have already setup another server however it will take a few days for DNS' around the world to use the new information so for the short term you can access the site by going to

http://69.1.77.195/

by Wednesday/Thursday you should be able to access using the standard tgpwizards.com domain (if not sooner).

I am pleased to report though that even though this unfortunate situation occured....there was NO dataloss...my replication system worked perfectly in keeping a backup copy of the database on another server right up to the moment of the primary server being taken offline. During this downtime submissions were still being sent out as well. So beyond the fact none of you were able to prepare any new submissions, nothing has been lost.

I truly apologize for the downtime and as compensation...I have awarded everyone 5,000 credits into their accounts to use as they please.

well... they've only been out of beta for a couple of months...
