Both are wrong.

That's an asinine illustration. What percentage of Americans are Christian? 90%? What percentage are gay? We haven't exactly persecuted Christians here in America. Christians were never beaten up or dragged behind trucks. A sports figure admitting he's gay really is a pretty big step.

They equate that as Christians being dragged behind trucks, and as persecution as it gets. :2 cents: They think that because we've "invited" homosexuality into this country. We've dismissed "morality". We've dismissed the "sanctity of marriage". They say that because we've accepted homosexuality into our lives, we're all going to become flaming homo faggots because we can't resist Satan's temptation of homosexuality. :) Oh you know, I'm soooo tempted... Just spend a few minutes on YouTube and you'll see what all the hip Christians are talking about. :1orglaugh |

This this is clearly inaccurate. You tune into any major sporting event and when they interview the winning athlete afterwards many of them thank God or make some kind of remark about how God gave them the strength to do this and I don't ever hear anyone tell them to be quiet.

The problem with Tebow is not his religion, its that he cannot throw a football.

There was a story in the news recently about a former pro football player who Tweeted his support for the gay basketball player and because of it a religious group that was going to pay him $8,000 to come speak to them canceled his appearance. A few years ago Tim Tebow and his mom had a pro-life commercial air during the Super Bowl. While they may not hold press conferences to talk about their religion there are many of them who are not shy about sharing their religious views during interviews about the game and there are many who are involved in sometimes high profile religious events. |
I hate to be told what to think or how to act. see, i gave it a minute
