Premiere CS is freaking Awesome!
 

I have sadly, been editing all of my movies through imovie, with my other sites. good quality, but not breathtaking. Seems like the resolution and general clarity is night and day, when compared to Premiere. Just started learning it, but so far, so freaking good! Shot last month and this footage is far superior than the newest imovie rendering could ever do.

I know, it's obvious, but wow! I had no idea. Premiere freaking rocks! Fuck imovie

iMovie is crap for kids and old ladies. I've been working with Premiere lately, because I can jump between Windows and OSX easier...but Final Cut Pro X and it's 8 updates since it was launched is what I prefer.

But yeah, fuck iMovie.

I am very happy with my Sony Vegas Pro features and workflow, but the poor product-support and slower GPU acceleration could make me switch to Adobe soon.

CS is pretty awesome

I did, that is why I consider changing. I use a FirePro v4900 in one PC, and a Quadro 4000 in the other. There are big problems getting the ATI drivers to Work with Open CL, when the output is MPG4. With most of the exports on the ATI V4900 PC, I can render just as fast(or faster) with CPU only.

With Adobe the output renders much faster - about 2,5 x realtime with the Quadro, and 1,5 with the ATI.

The only reason I havent made the switch yet, is the workflow. I'm so used to how Vegas Work, and I really dont want to spend time converting all my Projects.

I do prefer Vegas for capturing...but since the new camera is card based...
upgrades arent just software

Been using Premiere for years. We edit all the Babes.com footage on it. Love it!
