So I have a fun game today.

I'm going to start listing five things I like and five things I hate about my country. Perhaps you can do the same!

Country: Brazil

The best:

-Hot girls
-Several nice beaches
-"Warm" people
-Freedom
-Natural beauties

The worst:

-Very dirty politicians
-Hypocrite society
-Ridiculously high taxes (specially for imported products)
-Social inequality (some ultra rich, some miserable)
-Poor infrastructure (airports, ports, roads, railroads, hospitals, schools, etc.)

Australia
Best: scenery women
Worst: The most lame reason to introduce a tax on one of the most common elements carbon which is plant food. They will tax hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen as soon as they can. Chicken Little Story The sky is falling. Pay money to save the world WTF Volcano's alone produce 85% of worlds carbon.
We will be out of food long before we are out of oxygen.

SPAIN

The best:

- The food
- The art (museums)
- The girls
- The very nice arquitectonicals buildings
- Real Madrid, Barcelona FC, and Spanish Team
- The beach
- The alcohol you can drink at any time
- Paella, Sangria, Sol, Putas...

The Worst:

- All politicians are corrupts
- People shout too much
- Very hot in summer
- The women has moustache (no, is a joke haha)
- Too much noise in the streets

I think the worst about Canada is our Taxes... Language police doesn't affect me at all as I think it's just sentimental BS from french separatist peppers :upsidedow

- unemployment (lack of social development into new industries) / cartel like mentality big business / elitist-style wealthy-governmnet / corporate control / quebec-english paradigm coupled with voting on a federal level / native issues

Best: Natural beauty.

Worst: US$10/gal gas. US$8/gal milk. But that is the cost of a carbon tax and nationalized health care.

The Good-Decent healthcare,not overpopulated (yet).Americans don't want to live here
The Bad-Taxed to death,Too many Asians causing properties to sky rocket.too damn expensive.Shitty justice system

Argentina:
The best:
Pretty much everything: any scenery you could think of, astonishingly beautiful women, food like you have never tasted (and I mean it as EVERYDAY FOOD), really advanced equality laws, not so high taxes, a cultural life like very few places in the world.... well, it's great, to be honest.

The bad: politicians, of course. And having to demonstrate those fucking Brazilians we're much cooler than them, when are they going to learn! :1orglaugh

US has many good things, including my son. But "cool" would never be the word I'd choose to describe it. In general, it's the "anti cool" by definition, it has some cool places but nowhere close to be the majority, not even 1%. In terms of "coolness", if you're comparing US to Brazil.... well, I take you've never visited Brazil or your definition of "cool" is really particular

I was in Brasil in April. I know it is cool, and notice I put cool in quotes, brother. I love Brasil. But they speak Portuguese and the world doesn't.

Let me ask you, what is the name of the brasilian oscars? Maybe you know, but nobody in europe does. Who in Brasil has sold more records than american recording artists? No one. What brasilian movies released last month are they watching in Brno? None? one? You don't know but I can tell you they are watching 10 american movies. And as a destination for immigrants over the last 20 years? you want to bet Brasil over US?

Hey, Argentina has the new pope, and this is the time of south america, but, my friend, all over the world, they read US books, watch US movies and TV shows, listen to US songs, etc. Now if I say "do you know who Jay Z is" you'll say yes. And you'll say the only reason I don't know the argentine equivalent (if such exists) is because I'm a stupid american. But do they know your guy in Nairobi? In Kiev? In Tallinn? In Cork? No.

I am not saying US is better, in fact we did some very shameful stuff in the last 20 years but what I said is true.

Australia seems to be amazing! I didn't know the taxes were that high. More than Brazil? No way! For me, there's no such thing as end of the world, not so soon, the Earth will remain turning for a long time. I can't say the same to humans. This bullshit about sustainability is just a new marketing strategy to fool people and make more money with green products. They really don't care about anything beyond profit.

Same as Brazil! Nice nightlife, and lot's unemployed or working hard for a penny. That's what I call paid slavery.

High cost of living on certain areas, but not in general. If you compare to several countries in Europe, we are a cheap place to live, but some cities like Rio and Sao Paulo have ultra-expensive neighborhoods.

What about Ibiza? I heard it's awesome! LOL women with moustache, that's a funny joke.
Noise and thieves, no, politicians, it's everywhere.
I don't like very hot weather too. I only like when I'm relaxing on the beach. To work and everything else I prefer cold.

My friend went to Canada recently. I only hear good things. It's true that people can't puke on the street? He was arrested and had to pay a bill. I'm not sure if this is true, but that was what he told me.

Really? I always thought that USA and Canada were friends and partners.
You guys have two countries over the borders. We have several, and no, we don't have a Border Patrol Police.
Imagine the amount of drugs and illegal products that cross all the borders every day!

Well, I never went to Scotland. I want to, but for now, I can say two good things: Cliffs and nature in general, specially the inner country, and your accent. You guys have a very nice accent!

Well, I'm not sure if you are from New Zealand or Australia, but the only "problem" I see from the outside POV is really the fact that you are so far away. I'll have to take some pills to resist almost 30 hours inside of an airplane when I decide to make a visit. :Oh crap

I wish I could pay high taxes and see the results in public services from the government, and infrastructure in general like you can see in Canada.

The biggest problem here is the tax money the politicians "deviate" to their own accounts.

This is the world way these days. Profit above everything. That's what I call corporatocracy, where the government itself don't have the power. The government is just a corporation slave.

I recently watched The Men Who Built America from History, and now I understand if the US is what it is today is because while others were running naked, you were doing some serious business and creating things. Everyone should watch this documentary: americans, non-americans and even anti-americans.

Well, the definition of cool is very particular, and I like to refer as cool people, not cool country.
Every country has cool people, and boring people, right?

Religion just divides people. Have you ever watched Religulous by Bill Maher? I don't like religion, and the way people follow other people like gods just because they are gurus or leaders. This is so dumb, but they do, that's why they have power and money. Fuckers.

It's a dream to think about a decent healthcare. Lol, it seems that my misconception of Canada and USA as friends is over. I didn't know about Canada's justice system. I'm learning a lot here.

Since I don't like soccer, and the biggest implication between us starts with soccer, I have nothing against Argentina. I was born in a southern Brazil town, near Argentina border. It's a nice country. I just think we both need to replace our presidents ASAP. I don't trust them. :Oh crap

Unfortunately, Brazil is a closed country. We produce and we consume most of our content. We only export certain kinds of products, not culture or knowledge, mainly because the language.

English is a universal language, so not only the US, but all native english speaking countries have this advantage. What they produce have the potential to spread.

Only 3.96 % of brazilians speak english. This should say something.

What you say above is 100% true in my opinion - there are tons of good things going on Brasil, Programa de Aceleração seems to have had some success, but the message has to get out. World Cup and Olympics will help.
