McDonalds piggybacking on Cleveland Kidnapping publicity

Rut-Ro McDonalds, better be careful which stories you try to grab a piece of the publicity from:

dyna mo...that is fucking hilarious

i don't really think that's piggybacking on publicity.. he's mentioned their name a bunch of times, and it's a business trying to say thanks to a local at one of their restaurants that made the world a little better

It certainly is opportunistic, which is good for any business.
They could jump on this if they really wanted to. The Mcdonalds hero campaign.
Give this guy 1000 a month for life.
Each year another hero is voted for either at a mcdonals with a ballot, or online.
Mcdonalds corp of course not one small mcdonald's owner.
I don't know, people love hero stories so could be a big boost to their site once or twice a year.

I find it ironic that they are trying to call out McDonald's as trying to grab some publicity, it seems to me that is exactly what youarekidding is trying to do.

It is probably about 250,000 in total or less invested properly.

That is nothing at all if you think about what they spend everywhere.

Done right i bet this sort of campaign would get them a lot of legs.

The only way to get nominated is to become a semi famous hero..then get voted on.

Promoting good deeds etc.

I think today is big mac day, 1 dollar to charity for every big mac sold.

:)

d-null 05-08-2013 11:44 AM

they should give the guy free big macs for life at his local restaurant :thumbsup

Yeah it is.

Nothing wrong with McD reaching out to the guy. Maybe they just plan to give him a new lunch for the one that got ruined.

Yes, i imagine the counseling bills alone will be high.
Emotional psychologist or something.

I have a feeling the girls will soon own those guys financially, if the houses are theirs they can sell them and get some money also.

watch his interview with anderson cooper last night. That was the first thing he suggested when anderson suggested that the fbi offered a 25k reward for it.. pretty crazy interview he is rough around the edges but that's a pretty noble move on his part to even say that.
