Is everyone in Montreal a big fat pussy or just its hockey team?

First they bitch about perfectly legal and clean hit. Then they wouldn't put up or shut up.
And all of this on top of having Sean Avery wanna be. I'm starting to hate them more than Penguins or Flyers. :321GFY

Now now, let's not get overboard, we all know the biggest pussy team in the NHL are the Pens. But to answer your question, yes the Canadiens are a big pussy besides Subban and Price. They have a midget as a captain. The rest of the team including their coach and their GM are big fat pussies. The irony of it all is that their coach was the last Pens coach too lol. Looks like he likes to coach his teams to be pussies ;)

I love how Chara ran Max through the turnbuckle last year and they were crying and asking the police to investigate and arrest Chara lol.

I keep hearing how MTL Canadiens think they have heritage blah blah with all their stanley cups but The Oilers dynasty of the 80's would rape the best Canadiens team of their dynasty years hands down.

The result sucked. The hit was clean, regardless of the bs Shanahan ruling. Only Montreal fans, and apparently Shanahan, think otherwise. No blind side hits? Keep your fuckin' head up.

If Scott Stevens was playing today, the guy would be banned for life.

My take on it: Clean hit.

I think the resulting penalty and 1 game suspension was more than enough consequences, Shanny didn't have to add a second game to it. It was just an unfortunate thing resulting from an albeit very hard clean hit.

The guy had puck possession which would negate interferance (which was the call on the ice). No intentional contact to the head, it was mostly shoulder to shoulder, thus not against head contact rules.

The Walrus is actually right, if you don't want your teammate to get creamed then perhaps you should think twice about passing to him in open ice where he's going to have his head down and turned around and thus totally open for a blindside hit.

Also, Montreal fans and organization members bitching about Maclean using the guy's number instead of his name, calling it 'disrespectful'etc, are just being a pack of whiny nitpicky bitches. Fact is out of everyone bitching about this hit I'd have to point out Maclean has some of the most actual hockey playing experience, having actually played the game as a career.

Giving a 5 minute major and a 2 game suspension for a clean hit is far more than was required for a clean hit. This is hockey, players get hit, sometimes a guy gets hurt from a legal hit, it happens. Montreal fans, players and coaching staff of all people should know this. Get over it, move on.

cherry said it best, you have headlines with blood all over the ice someone is going to get suspended, expecting anything different is just an emotional response..

were you sniffing glue before you posted this? montreal dominated when there were 6 teams in the league and through expansion through the 70's, they even won one in the 80's when the oilers supposedly had their best team ever, that couldn't even get past the flames in the semi's.

how many oilers in the hall of fame again?

Oh did I hurt a Montreal Canadiens fan?:1orglaugh Yes, Montreal dominated when there were only 6 teams in the league LOL. The only reason they won one in 1986 was because Steve Smith (oiler's defenseman) put the puck in his own net in the Calgary-Edmonton series that year eliminating his own Oilers team :disgust. Otherwise the Oilers would have won that year too, and it would have been 6 cups in 6 years. Do you really think that 86 Canadiens team with a bunch of floaters could beat Gretzky and the 86 Oilers? If you do, you are delusional.

To answer your question, there are 6 Oilers from that dynasty who are in the hall of fame

Hockey Hall of Fame Members: (7)
Glenn Anderson, Paul Coffey, Grant Fuhr, Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri, Mark Messier, Glen Sather.

You are the one sniffing glue because let's look up the All Time Playoffs Scoring Leaders shall we? Oh snap, who's the top 5 all time: Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Anderson, and Coffey. All part of the dynasty oilers teams. Where is your beloved Canadiens players?

Like I said, Oilers dynasty would destroy ANY Canadiens dynasty team. The Canadiens were dominant when there were only 6 teams in the league, they are the most overrated franchise in hockey, thinking they have heritage lol.

EliteWebmaster 05-06-2013 03:54 AM

What made the Oilers dynasty special is that they were a scoring machine but they were tough as nails too. They are not a bunch of pussies like the Pen's team of today or even those wimpy Canadiens dynasty teams. The Oilers could scrap and they are the epitomy of what a true hockey team should be. Watch some of the fights below and you will see how tough they are. Anytime they fought, they pounded their opponents.

Watch Semenko at 0:35, and the high knee to the Flames player's face. Classic :thumbsup
