Thanks Spunky and yes u are correct

Lucky they said it has been caught very early. Its a grade1 cancer and grows very slowly She now has to have another MIR scan to make sure it hasent spread into her glands under her armpits. If that comes out ok they will be cutting it out of her breast and removing the glands and giving her 5 weeks of radiotherapy followed by 5 years of a pill to block some hormone. I watched my dad die of bowl cancer and he was only 52 years old, I couldent bare to go through something like that again, hopefully luck is on our side this time

Best wishes to the missus. Speedy recovery.... the other stuff is minimal...

Years ago my mother in law got breast cancer. It was right around Christmas.

It was nearly comical. Her husband - my father in law - spent the entire Christmas holiday bitching and crying like a six year old about how the family had one drama after another, etc etc etc. He failed to understand that during a forty year marriage, there was gonna be some drama. Meanwhile, my mother in law handled the situation. It was incrediable really - She stood up and faced it and had no fear.

My point is you either handle things or get handled.

Good luck man.

She had been been complaining that her left breast was aching and we did feel some lumps in it, but it really was her doctor who checked them and then referred her to the hospital for futher tests, so we really have a lot to thank him for.

Sorry to hear about your wife's cancer. Best of luck in fighting it.

The other stuff pales in comparison, but I'm sure every little thing contributes to your stress (and doesn't it always feel like when it rains, it pours - just remember, the sun will shine again).

Keep a positive attitude, and it will make everything easier to cope with (I know it's easier said than done, especially when it feels like everything is going to shit around you), but if you can focus on the things you can actually make the most significant amount of progress/difference on, other things have a way of working themselves out, or at least your mind is less cluttered, and you can devote more of your attention and energy to dealing with the other less important issues.

Good luck... :thumbsup

sorry to hear man. wish the best for your wife and hope she gets better soon.

shitty things happen, but you should be able to get the iPhone fixed if its under warranty (1 year) with Apple and the car, you just have to deal with the place you bought it to fight them and get your money back.

tomorrows a new day :winkwink:

Barry-xlovecam 05-03-2013 04:53 PM

Hope everything works our OK for your wife.

The other things are just a shit-storm in life, they will pass ...

Elli 05-03-2013 05:25 PM

Wishing your wife the most positive outcome!

When I read about your daughter's car, it reminded me of an article I read yesterday where Quentin Tarantino's stolen Pulp Fiction caddy was finally recovered and the current owner who bought it legitimately may be able to file an insurance claim. May be worth looking into?
