Sex Superbug Could Be 'Worse Than AIDS' - Where's Rapid Results Testing

An antibiotic-resistant strain of gonorrhea?now considered a superbug?has some analysts saying that the bacteria's effects could match those of AIDS.

"This might be a lot worse than AIDS in the short run because the bacteria is more aggressive and will affect more people quickly," said Alan Christianson, a doctor of naturopathic medicine. More.....

I feel like we should have the technology to have some sort of all-inclusive rapid results testing available? Meet a girl at a bar, you go home, you both pee on a stick, get your finger pricked, 10 minutes later you're off to hours, or in my case seconds, of intense drunk sex. Or you show up to your shoot, you both test and blammo, you can fuck with total confidence that you're safe from you female partner's escorting adventures the night before or your male partner who was balls deep in some obese, hairy closet-homosexual's rectum eight hours earlier. (not that there's anything wrong with that) With AIDS and Hep and now this thing why do we not have rapid testing available? Anyone done any research on that? Is that something coming soon? Seems to me the technology should be there and it would be pivotal in stopping STD transmission worldwide. Something being worked on? Anyone done any research on this?

Thoughts?

OraQuick is now sold in drug stores. 20 minute mouth swab HIV test used by clinics. Of course there is up to six month window on that test since it is an antibody test.
