Anyone HEre using wordpress and getting 25K Visitors daily?
 

25+ k visitiors a day without any caching plug in or any heavy customization to their site? I am just not sure anymore.

My plan is:

1. Use wordpress to make a video blog site. (I don't plan on adding new features, i just want to add content and get traffic via search engine)

OR

2. Develope site from scratch (add cool features like, whats hot, top videos, comminity bla bla bla)

Wordpress can handle lots of traffic... the problem is with the hosting plan you choose... might not handle 25k.. for that amount you should go for VPS or dedicated...

Also make sure you're not adding lots of plugins to wordpress at it might clutter it up

I have a mainstream WordPress site that receives 15k UV per day. The site runs with only 1 SEO plugin. There has never been any issue. Of course, that 15k doesn't come all at once and is spread out over a 24 hour period. I'm confident that with my dedicated server I could handle 25k and then some without any cache plugins.

Why not use cache plugins?
