What did you think of this series? Is it just conspiracy fodder once again from Stone?
Or has he actually put together the factual chain of events?

Whatever the case, I found the entire series very interesting and thought-provoking.

great director, great subject matter and it's free....what's not to love?

i've watched the 1st 4 episodes, started with ch 3, the bomb.

i don't think it's conspiracy fodder but it is certainly revisionist history couched in terms to pitch stone's message that america is wrong and needs to change. inparticular, america's foreign policy.

i agree that america needs to change our foreign policy but i don't know if it's a good idea to couch that message in a history series titled "untold history of the u.s."

it's pretty lopsided in order to get stone's message across, i would not use it as a tool to teach history.

Untold story = made up based on bits of reality woven together with plenty of conjecture

I enjoyed it.

oh, i've been a bit surprised at how stalin is portrayed in the chapters i've watched.

Maybe there's some of that in there. The truth usually lies in between.

If it is conspiract fodder, I'd be willing to guess someone will debunk it soon enough.

I haven't watched it yet, who authored the book; Don't know much about history, the story of the us? (think that was the title).
