Someone posted an article the other day to the top ten conspiracy theories, and you can still poke holes through most of them, and some of them have never really been verified. One of them was the syphilis tests - it wasn't a government conspiracy, it was three low ranking doctors and a nurse. The Northwoods operation was't something that happened, it was a crazy idea from the CIA - and the CIA back in those days had a lot of freaking crazy ideas.

Read that.. That's what "Conspiracy" means. A "Conspiracy Theorist (You)" thinks the government (the group) did something behind our backs (the secret plan) to do something unlawful or harmful (terrorist attacks).

They're not all crazy, some just have a low IQ.

Just the fact that you can throw an unlimited amount of actual facts at them but most of them are adamant and completely dismissive of every one of them, stubbornly clinging to their little theory, almost as if they *want* the conspiracy to be true.

That alone speaks to me that most of them are irrational if not flat-out "crazy."

I think if some of these conspiracy nutters would put all that energy in trying to make money, they would be very rich and probably end up being the ones doing the conspiring

I have noticed that a lot of people with money issues gravitate towards conspiracy theories. I've seen it right on this message board. A good chunk of people heavily into conspiracy theories also rant on about how they are not making money.

I'm not going to call them out, but if you look a little closer, you will see them bring it up.

Not going to say who, but the group who reads one of these books is the craziest group of humans who have ever existed on this planet. They make even the most bat shit crazy conspiracy theorist look sane.

Imagine if they channeled that energy into trying to make money from conspiracy theories. Love him or hate him, Alex Jones built a small empire on it. "Crazy" sells if you present it the right way.

If you are referring to the Bible...many millions of people have read that book and they do not believe much of anything...if anything...in the book. Even the majority of Christians do not believe everything written in that book. So...no...even though you may think it...the majority of people that have read that book are not crazy.

The question should be "at what point do i stop and actually take an honest look at how i'm driving, considering the fact that everyone is honking at me and flipping me off every time I drive?" - or do you choose to live the rest of your life in denial with everyone on the road honking at you and flipping you off? Of course you can surround yourself with similar asshole drivers who will also tell you the problem is "everyone else". But that will never help you live a more fulfilling and happier life... it just helps you to deny the problem.

What is the "official story"? Is there some commonly accepted and shared understanding of all the 1000 facets of what happened? Has every person who took that poll read the reports? Did they all engage in some careful analysis of every aspect of the events and reports? Of course not. I am not interested in proving myself right or wrong. I do not care if I am right or wrong. I live my life, i'm happy, I share it with someone I love more than anything in the world and we do all we can to fill our time full of laughter and love. I have no need to spend my days, tirelessly toiling about, seeking out information, stats, data and arguments that validate and affirm my own paranoid delusions, as I suffer from neither.

You turn everything into a dark conspiracy by those in power against the common man.... because you need help. Because you have multiple mental disorders and this is how you are attempting to make sense of how you see the world. That's all anyone needs to know about you in terms of the state of your mental health. You spend your time looking for it and surprise surprise, you find it in everything. You spend your time trying to convince everyone else of the same. You are not "spreading the word for others benefit". You are the crazy cult follower trying to recruit because the only way your can reconcile the dark, paranoid and delusional world you've created for yourself with reality is in trying to seek out others that either share that dim view or by convincing others because a simple trick of the mind is that it tends to believe it's more correct when it finds evidence that others believe the same. The more people that it can convince itself believe the same, the more it can convince itself that its correct.

When you devote your life to attacking anyone and everyone, every single day, you're going to have 1000 misses and 10 hits. Then you just focus on the hits as if you're a genius and dismiss the misses and pretend they didn't happen or, if you find yourself in a bind, pose some retarded questions to basically excuse the misses by alluding to more conspiracy. His audience certainly can't easily compile a list of everything he's wrong about anymore than any other cult follower could compile a list of everything their guru is wrong about. That information isn't useful and is simply deleted from the followers mind.
