well, to be fair, any argument needs to consider the other side right? to at least see 2-3 positive components that make sense from the opposite view right? there are benefits to having a social structure like the one he goes over but the video is entirely bleak.

maybe shit is bleak, i doubt it, i'm mortal. that's about as bleak as it gets.

you've been taught you are mortal..so you do all you can to hang on and amass as much material belongings as fast as possible, so when you die, it won't be in a ditch and abandoned... so you spend your entire life trying to live

but we are eternal beings , we are forever and as the energy leaves this body, it will find another to push life forward.

the elite have made the money a power source, a false idol of worship and we all strive to get as much of it as we can

but i buy material things for how they make me feel right then and there. the longterm items- permanent shelter and modern-day insurance(required, of course) are the harder items to purchase. it's not about dying with the most toys?

maybe i was taught that i am mortal, could be, but buying material things is a response to being mortal, not about the afterlife and not being in a ditch.

i don't disagree with the energy thing, but if that the case, then aren't we like energy capsules? if so, let's customize our capsules with some material things eh, at least right?

i do usually have to watch things 2x+, but was that video is supposed to motivate?

This much is true but then there is a huge leap in logic.

I can dominate a group of lions doesn't mean one won't run riot by itself....

It's one thing to say society provokes violence an entirely different thing to say violence doesn't exist outside of it.

You're forgetting the fact that while we're in this mortal body and stage, we need cash monies to do things we really enjoy, whether that's a new watch, paying for our kids' education, employing people, donating to deemed worthy causes, making sure our kids have shelter, warmth, food, and a ton of other shit that society, and you, see as 'material' (which word almost always is used to imply it's somehow bad), and that we owe it to ourselves *at this stage* of whatever eternal life we do or don't have, to fully experience and enjoy life. And that, my matrix-fearing friend, who lives in more fear than anyone he tells is, is them there facts.

You assume everyone who doesn't have the same rigid views as yourself is a sheep living in fear and a slave blah blah blah, and proceed to tell them how to think and act, in the name of making sure someone else doesn't tell them how to think and act :error :error :error
