mainstream social marketing (facebook etc) pricing guide?
 

I have couple fanpages and one small business owner contacted me, he liked what I did with those pages and asked if I would be interested in promoting his business via facebook. I would be interested, but not sure what to charge him. I know there are few people on GFY who does that, could you guide me a bit? Like do I charge for number of fans achieved? Or for how many sales came from FB? Or some combination of things?

Very competive market your getting into with this. Find out what his goals are, such as visitors, likes, followers, page views or purchases. You can only have 1, and they get more expensive (and difficult) from left to righy

Not sure about competitive, all I would have to do is promote his business the way I promoted mine (he liked that and thats why he contacted me). Only thing that I have no idea what to charge him. Whats the most common scheme, charging per number of fans achieved?
