5 - 6 days a week
EDIT @ WarChild - I tried P90x after you mentioned it in a thread last year and loved it. Trying the insanity workout now. Thanks for that, lost a stack of weight with P90X and changed just about everything in my life since. |
that's really great guys , until one month ago i wasnt moving my ass really :) but almost a month without few days i workout every morning , first thing in the morning is the workout and then the day is starting.
Any suggestions for specific ways of workout? Or links that you already know, but only for home workouts? |
3-4 days a week here. Have held pretty steady on that for the last 6 months. Nothing like an early AM workout to get the day kicked off.
|
5-6 days a week for me. I can't work out early in the morning, though. I don't know how people do that. I prefer to work out in the evenings.
:) |

I'm in shape just wanna tone up a bit, moving in a few weeks and 1 bedroom will turn into office/weight room :thumbsup

Funny, all of us who train comes to post, none of the other guys comes even on the subject :P
I train 5 to 6 days a week, I'm a road biker, these days I train inside, 30min every morning, otherwise I bile 30km(18.5m) back and forth to the office morning/afternoon. A normal biking year for me is about 2500km (1550m), excluding inside training. |

I'm more into cardio.a hour everyday on the bike
|
Gym 3 times a week, cardio 2-3 times a week. And that allows me to eat whatever the f*!k I want and not be a chubster.
|
2-3 times in a gym until summer comes. Also doing pushups and lifting some light weights at home everyday.
|
I used to do sports and was pretty active until I was about 16. Then I stopped completely and didn't do any form of exercise until I was like 30. I ate and drank very unhealthy as well. I never got fat though, I just was totally out of shape.
Then I became single and moved to another country and started to work out. It was the first time in my life I did any kind of weights exercises and I loved it. I also started to eat a more healthy diet. This was about 3 years ago and since then I've been working out at least 3 times a week. I still go 3 to 4 times a week and still love it. I don't do any cardio. My biggest problem is that it's very hard for me to gain weight. No matter how much I eat, it seems impossible to gain any weight, so my muscles grow quite slowly. Also because I never did any kind of weight training until I was over 30 it took quite a while to get into shape. I managed to build a pretty nice body over the last 3 years though, it's not over the top bulky, just nicely shaped, including decent abs. I don't want to get much more bulky and have like a huge chest and huge arms, I just want to maintain what I have now. |

Cycle 4 or 5 times a week and do 2 other mixed workouts with some boxing, running ect
|
Working out and eating healthy are a lifestyle. I dont think about, I just do it everyday. Since rest days are just as important as the days im in the gym, Id say I work out 7 days a week.
|
Yeah every time I have to go up a flight of stairs. That shit is killer now! :winkwink:
|
never, i have to start really soon!
|
Train for 4-5 days, meal prep for 2. Time resting is time growing, like SC said its a lifestyle. If you enjoy the end result you'll keep at it. Baffles my mind how people don't respect the one body they're given. And on that note, its leg day!
|
im stay around 8% bf... I work at a gym so I workout few times a day every day....
I eat like shit right now though.... when I diet right I can get down to 4% |

|

I run 5 Km to 10 Km every other day, and lift on the days in between. Typically I take a day off at some point during the week.

Every Day except Sunday. I use Laird Hamilton's circuit workout routine (you can find it in his book).

in my experience i would say it has more to do with how effective your workouts are rather than how often you are doing it. Going a few times a week to the gym for weights (compound muscle movements only) and cardio sessions are only around 6-15 minutes--which can be more than enough for endurance training if you do it right ;)

What is your resting heart rate? |
I'm currently training for a 24-hour ultra marathon (running) that's taking place in 10 weeks. I'm running close to 60 km per week and hope to do 150k in that 24 hours.
