Best shared host for wordpress MU?

Any shared hosts that can handle the creation of a wordpress MU setup?

Any that help with it as well?

I'm no longer going freehost style.

Rather have my own subdomain blogs.

Ref links welcome.

Wordpress MU is now part of of Wordpress, meaning you install regular Wordpress, then enable the multi-site function.
http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Once you enable the network/multi-site feature you choose to use sub-directories or subdomains.

If you need it managed - then NakedHosting / CertifiedHosting:thumbsup
- fully managed servers
- cPanel/WHM available
- free site migration
- real 24/7 support (no outsourced monkeys from india/philipines)
- rock solid network
- they are based in Las Vegas (where all the fun is + no hurricanes)

If you know how to manage a blank server yourself - than DigitalOcean.com

Check out some of the premium web hosts listed. You're welcome to create a review of the web host as well after you've tested the service.

Depending on how many sites you are looking to create. I would probably look into at least a vps. In reality. Would you host 100 blogs on a shared hosting accounts? Probably not, so you wouldn't want to create 100 sub blogs on one either. If you only plan to create 20 or 30. Shared should be fine.
