Evidence would generally be presented in court during their trial, should they not resist arrest and start a gun fight resulting in their death, which would greatly inhibit the opportunity for the evidence to be presented. :2 cents:

So the aunt says "where's your evidence?," even though no one needs to present evidence to her. Meanwhile, Dad and uncle say "turn yourself in."

All the FBI did was post video and pictures of two guys, just like the internet did of a bunch of people of interest

No arresting authority has to present evidence to the general public to arrest someone, or ask people to be on the look out for someone. Evidence is presented to either a grand jury or judge to get a warrant/indictment, and then to a judge, jury and defense attorneys (in advance) during the accused's trial, should there be one. Go look at the FBI's most wanted list. Names, pictures, crimes....no evidence presented. And if the aunt is right that there's no evidence, then they should have turned themselves in and let due process happen. No evidence = not guilty, which would be determined in a court. As baddog said, the dead one certainly gave indication otherwise, though..

I should also add that it's in the best interest of the arresting authority to have sufficient evidence when making the arrest, because if they don't and the charges are dropped/dismissed, they open themselves up to wrongful arrest lawsuits. But I'm guessing that concept is too much for the OP to grasp, as well.

I.E., they may be guilty, and the authorities want to bring them in for questioning/trial. If it was "solved," they would be thrown in jail with no trial or simply executed. And before you make that leap, the first suspect's death was brought upon by himself. He was not blindly executed.

I understand that she doesn't want to comment on something these guys have done until she's sure they did it.

Really all of us only we know that we've seen two pictures and now one guy is dead and the other is causing Boston to be locked down. I think there's nothing fishy going on, but some people may be inclined to think that.

The cop's quote does seem odd, but coupled with the dad's quote about hell breaking loose makes me wonder...as far fetched as it sounds, could there be, I hate to use the phrasing 'sleeper cells,' but groups scattered around that will unleash a series of small attacks should this kid die? It sounds extreme, but at this point, I don't know what to expect.

I heard mention on CNN this morning that that 'kid' may have dropped a few random pipe bombs around. If that's the case, all I can say is if I lived anywhere near there I would probably stay the hell home this week and just let the coppers do their thing.
