Ive heard reports that one suspect is in custody and its one of the wanted guys from the bombing.

Didnt take long to catch those guys. Cant believe the one guy just layed there with all those cops pointing guns at him... if he did the bombing he should have just jumped up and rushed them, effectively committing suicide by cop.

It now seems that the guy in the Black Cap is dead - The guy in the White Cap is on the run.....

Yeah I'm not clear on that either, but am thinking there were possibly more ppl than Black Cap and White Cap involved. I'm sure it will be sorted out. Still don't know if the MIT campus cop spotted one of them and was shot by one of them?

I think they just said it was a mistake and he was released - All very confusing...

If was a mistake it sucks for him - His naked pics all over the internet and CNN - Although did blur his bits on TV...

This kid in the news story below and his friend were all over the media as potential bombing suspects incl. front page pics on some of the rags over here. I think he seems genuinely emotional about being wrongly accused and profiled for his ethnicity. But I get the feeling his family (like his father saying he can't go to work) is setting up for a lawsuit...

They are saying it is Mike Mulugeta, and the missing student Sunil Tripathi. Of course no verification just speculation.

It was on the Boston PD scanner which was broadcast over the net.

In some major media outlets, Sunil Tripathi name now being retracted as Suspect #2 in the news. Maybe his name was just being used as a decoy on the PD scanner? Reports are that the suspects are foreign and have been in the country for about a year.
