What Do You Think Of This Blog?

http://amateurteensexporn.pornblogspace.com/

I'm thinking that if I do this on my own WPMU and instead of using page posts I just link to posts on the blog it will work better.

All those images on the right link to pages but if I just use images from posts and link them that way, they will generate more clicks. Maybe I will use some sort of tgp script or just use xclicks?

I was getting close to 100 clicks a day on this blog at one time but now it's closer to 10.

Supz 04-18-2013 08:08 PM

It seems like there is plenty of space on that sidebar to make the images a bit bigger for each page. Maybe 2 side by side instead of 3. Do you see if the ones on the top are getting more clicks. Is there a patter with the ones that are being clicked.

DBS.US 04-18-2013 08:11 PM

Looks like the million other porn blogs out there.

AaronM 04-18-2013 08:13 PM

Sorry but it looks like complete shit to me. :2 cents:

I've noticed that the ones that get the most clicks are the ones that look the most interesting no matter where they are on the page. The actual pages that get the most hits are the ones that are more niche specific.

I made them small because I was going to go crazy and have them running all the way down the page. On another blog I have them the same size but about 5-6 columns.

what are you doing now that sensualwriter and thumblogger are gone? Didn't you have like a thousand blogs there?

It's a blog though. How do you make a blog look great if you follow content rules?

iSpyCams 04-18-2013 08:18 PM

Blogs are dead. Park your domains and go back to mowing lawns for a living.

All the posts are siting in txt files ready for reposting on another platform or maybe my own hosting. For the most part I never dealt with sponsors that didn't allow hotlinking for their images or I would get them to allow my urls to hotlink.

Right now I am waiting to see what happens. I will probably go through my blogs and look at the stats to see which ones were getting good organic traffic and I will host those on my own copy of WPMU.

If that's a serious question then perhaps you should consider something other than blogs.

yes, all my blogs are very simple. If you are using hosted galleries what can you really do other than try to get more SE traffic?

mikesinner 04-18-2013 08:36 PM

Here are the stats. Take into account that is a free hosted blog that doesn't have a good domain name.

http://i45.tinypic.com/30ku0jb.png

At it's height it was getting 2k/day. I haven't touched it in almost 2 years. If I had 100 of these I would be set. That's If I could keep them all at over 1k/day. This is all organic traffic.

I've never really paid much attention to what my individual blogs make because I've always had thousands of them. I only look at who sends me checks and I make more blogs for those sponsors while occasionally adding a new one but yeas I've defiantly made sales from these types of blogs.

Most of my swag bucks come from referrals.

Yngwie 04-18-2013 09:18 PM

To me it looks way too busy. Hard to focus your eyes on one specific place (either the actual content or the multiple ads). The only time it gets easy to read/view is after scrolling way down until the ads in the 2 side bars vanish. I understand that you want surfers more focused on the ads and hopefully make more $, but this will do nothing for any return surfer that may have eventually made you money or actually make the surfer currently on the site actually want to buy anything you are promoting. . You don't want to make the surfer feel like all you want to do is get them the fuck out of there and make you some $. Make it look like you are trying to provide people with something of quality. Earn their trust. This is just my opinion of course so it may not mean a damn thing.

Most surfers don't read porn blogs. I mean why would you read anything other than the title unless the blog is actually written by your favorite porn star or has original content like interviews or movies and images that are only available on that blog. If the purpose of the blog is to get them to click on the gallery which it seems is the point of FHG blogging then you are just focused on SE traffic and maybe getting them to click on an add or to another blog you own.

Could I teach you how to make blogs that make sales for some backlinks?

For example, danejoneshd.com makes sales almost daily at around 1:500 and I haven't touched it in forever. ;)

Also, take those hosted galleries and make your own on WP to link your posts to, like on http://jerkoffblogs.com/sexygirls/pictures/ (Slight server problems right now, fixed soon)

Your a real generous fellow.. Always helpful. Seem like one hard working bastard too. I would love to hear more info from you on how to earn cash with blogs. I'm just now getting into WP.

I've always made my money the simple way.. Marketing, I specialize in landing pages and out performing the next man in terms of converting.. But that's all with paid traffic. Sure would be nice to generate a small income with little invested monies. Something that can be scaled up with hard work like you do.

Btw, your avatar always reminds me of Mark Strong.

dillfly2000 04-18-2013 11:43 PM

Most my free blogs get around 1000-2000 hits daily. It adds up if you have a bunch with specific original niche content.

As long as you SEO properly you can manage some pretty good $$$ out of them.

Having many is key if you are going the free adult blog route.

It all depends if you want to babysit the same blog day in and day out, or just make many posts per blog and let the runoff traffic take care of the rest after the search engine marriage dies down.

You'd be surprised at how many blogs stay on top due to low competition.

duk75 04-18-2013 11:46 PM

The worse error you did was not to get a domain name. Now if you close the blog, you will lose forever all the SEO "juice" you created with the years.

I think you should get your own domain name, and host the blogs on your own page. In Arvixe you get that for $5 USD per month, which is very cheap. Make a wordpress blog, with your own domain, if your site has RSS then you can import all your content automatically with some plugins. Also, if "pornblogspace" offers google webmaster tools you can still save the SEO juice, just transfer your whole site on webmaster tools to your new site.

If I had multiple blogs with similar niches, I would try to "implode" them in one blog, so I get better SEO (only one site instead of distributing it between multiple sites), and I always buy a domain or use a subdomain of a domain I own, for anything I do, why? Because if it gets successful at least on SEO then I can take all the SEO juice and move it to other site.

The SEO juice comes from the fact that its hosted on a free blog host that has 100's of thousands of pages indexed into google. That domain has thousands of link backs for each of the sub domains. They might get indexed and treated like separate domains for some portion. But its also one large domain with tons of content. Which is why people use such a service, instead of using their own domain and hosting.

Of Course you have to work the SEO for your subdomain. But its not like you get nothing for being on a subdomain of a huge network domain.

I'm always around so helping when I can is fun.

The best way to make real money from blogs besides making CPC money from mass amounts of splogs is to make good handwritten blogs in the form of a mini review site. Then make a bunch of those and link them up in a similar niche blog ring.

Tips: Obviously pick out the best images to use for the posts. Instead of linking them to hosted FHGs, save those full size images to a folder then import in a new page as a gallery with a banner ad on the bottom.

Submit those galleries to The Hun and pin the good images to sex.com.
Convert the RSS to Feedburner, turning on pingshot, feedflare, and socialize to auto post to a Twitter acct.

Use selling text everywhere (under banners, good widget titles, one liners to click for more linked to the gallery below post text, etc.)

Surf on surfer forums to see what people who actually like what you are selling are talking about and what they are looking for. Also once in a while, join one of those forums and talk like a regular and post your gallery links once in a while without looking like spam.

Post more image galleries than videos, avoid 3+ minutes videos if you can, maybe adding one longer one.

Learning PHP, even for simple things like shuffling an array of ads, can be extremely helpful.

Make the theme at least kind of look like the site/s or niche that you are primarily promoting.

When you have enough blogs, create your own directory.

I'm tired, so anyone feel free to add to the list or correct me ;)

btw, I drew my avatar and is what I always look like when working :winkwink:
