World of Warcraft has helped my business

Hi,

I trade, barter and sell MMJ and related products on craigslist and World of Warcraft's auction house has prepared me well and granted much experience for application.

Has anyone else come to this conclusion?

If you really think about it I'm currently just a bank toon at work. Since I'm just posting my ads and scheduling deliveries after work.

There is some truth to this. A while back a friend of mine and I were playing WOW and he likes to buy raw ore, smelt it into bars then sell the bars at a higher price. It works well for him. He says something like, "I need to find a way to do this in real life."

I then told him he could, he just has to find the right item. For example, If the silver price is low I go to a local coin shop and buy 1oz silver bars and rounds. I then sit on them for a few weeks until the price goes up a few dollars and sell them on ebay. If silver spot is $30 and you buy a basic round for $31.50 then spot goes up to $32 you can sell those rounds on ebay for about $36 and make another .50-$1 each on the shipping fee. It isn't a lot of money, but it averages about $5-$6 in profit per coin just for driving to the coin store.

yea i really like how 'real life' is getting incorporated into games

so critical thinking, how markets like that work etc

it's just getting kids/people off the 'it's a game' into 'everything is a game'
