Or show images of a person claiming they are the bomber without proof?

I think if it comes to any suspect, they would want to get to him first and hopefully before tipping him off

Not sure about the first image, but the second one is REALLY interesting. He has that backpack right where the bomb went off and then is seen walking away without it.

The way he is holding the backpack at his waist in the first one could explain the damage to it. That would be consistent with the lower body injuries. Plus he doesn't seem to be struggling holding it. If the bag was full of ball bearings and whatever else, I don't think he'd be carrying it around by his forearm so casually.


Something now throwing me off in the second pic is the color of the backpack. Is it just the blue area or the brown area beyond that? Teens use those small packs nowadays, and the blue area is consistent with that. But if the brown area is also a part of it, then that's a full size backpack that is full.

The claim from the FBI is someone with a very large bag. The size of the pressure cookers was I big and most of those are 1.5 gallons in the stores here and they are much bigger than a back pack.

The picture of the shredded backpack was released by the FBI as having contained one bomb.

I think it is odd people are not more excited about this. Even if 1000 people were close to the blast sight. 10% would have a large bag? 50% of the bags would be black and how many would have the stripe? He has to be in the top ten suspects at this point.

Why would anyone be surprised if 4chan solved it before the FBI? The police and FBI aren't very bright and they aren't there to solve problems or prevent crime. A free market works way better than them

or he was dazed by the blast and could not see, hear or think...does not mean anything if he was running another way...

If the bomb was triggered by cell phone, why would he be so close to it when it detonated? Implies at least a second party is involved and he was a patsy.

That particular picture...just like pretty much every other picture in that Reddit Subreddit to find the bomber originated from 4chan. And if you were to create a Venn Diagram of 4chan users who use Reddit....it would pretty much be a circle.

If you were just knocked out by a blast, woke up to your clothes being blown off, surrounded by blood, victims, and limbs. What the fuck would you do? I'd wake up panicked, and if i was able, I'd run as fast as I could in case another bomb went off.

this doesn't make sense..the guy was just running the fuck away from explosion. probably confused,disoriented...other pics of suspects might show something but this one doesnt make sense at all.. i would run away too..and like someone said - there are others running in the same direction..

I'm not saying someone in these pictures can't be the bomber but i'm pretty sure some lives are getting destroyed by this.
Totally innocent people are having their pictures spread world wide while being called a murderer and terrorist without any evidence whatsoever. It's pretty sick.

I'm pretty sure that picture was on the front page of cnn, if the guy doesn't get linched and has nothing to do with the bombs, he can always sue for emotional damages.
