When we nuked Japan, there was no way for them to nuke the US. However, if the US was nuked even by a small suitcase bomb, expect the US to fire back with multiple nukes.

It all depends on where it hits. If it hits a daycare then we make a law banning terrorists from owning nuclear suitcases. Or ALL suitcases.

If it hits Washington, DC, then we deploy a B-52 and drop 10 millions pounds of thank you letters on them.
