Tubes not hiding anymore?

Seems like they used to not put pornstar names or titles. Kind of like they were hiding the source. Now they seem to display all the details, Or have they been doing this for a while?

Notice the entire title and all pornstars listed. Used to be the title was something generic.

user uploads :P

I've noticed more are now giving user the options to tag a pornstar, which is annoying. I'd rather use the porn star name just a few times to wet their appetite then use google to find the models site, other vids are niched on the tubes for more exposure with no models names - tagging their names just gives users everything in one place, only 1 winner..

There´s only 1 reason for that: SEO positions

If you purchase tube rights for a dvd, why shouldn't one be able to advertise that particular pornstar on their site? Details on a pornstar have been used for promo since I've started out so not sure how that can be new to anyone now. I get actresses hitting me up because they want their own channels even.

I dont get it

_Richard_ 04-09-2013 10:15 AM

need to promote the names/sites to get the money..

They don't care because they know nobody is going to do anything about it:2 cents:

they're not leaving any seo stones unturned

They are starting to get abusive, pop-ups that have on close code, rating sponsored content 100% without user votes, pop-ups on every event... That shit will tell in a cycle or two. They didn't do that while they were growing rapidly- you only engage in that shit when you are looking aggressively for ways to pay the bills, not building user base. Not sure what the next thing is, but they are sowing the seeds of their own disruption <-- I coined that, proud of it

Totally agree with you on that. I should have specified illegal tube sites.

I am talking high quality, entire movie that was just released. Title and stars listed like on pirate's bay.

Only a fool visits a tube site without using an adblocker.

If your browser doesn't already have one, then do a simple google search for "ad blockers" and install as needed.

Why the fuck should tube sites be exempt from free viewing?

Ad Blockers ruin tube site revenue, just like the tubes do to pay sites.

I highly recommend them.

Tell your friends!

You are clearly not a great fool, so I can't choose the wine in front of me

I wasn't meaning to ask for advice, I wrote it to add to the discussion about the practices of tubes, which have changed to become more intrusive and exploitative. What I was trying to point out is that something has changed about their revenue model, to move them in this direction, or perhaps they imagine that the consumer is captive. You notice MFC doesn't pull that shit.

Which is what bothers me with what AK is doing.

Somebody complains, AK offers to help in some way or form, then no action is taken by that complaining party. :Oh crap
