I agree with what Barry said above...but, if you received non exclusive rights
from wherever you got the DVDs to rip the content from...THEY should know that secondary producers should provide the appropriate 2257 to you, the secondary producer.
No different than if you buy content from me, that I need to provide you with it.
If I just gave you the FTP and let you d/l the content once you pay me, and you have zero 2257 from me, that's no different than you going and paying a porn company for their DVDs and ripping them...in either case you wouldn't have 2257 docs...
As a secondary producer, pain in the ass as it is...since June 2005, you should have those documents.
