|
why would i ?
|
300 Gigabits per second :1orglaugh :thumbsup
|
300Gbps is a shitload of traffic to be funnelled down into a single webhost, but it's not going to break the internet.

Its just Netflix, Youtube and the tubes crying. Maybe.:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
The Number One propaganda machine in LA, News at Channel 5 With Micah Ohlman made it sound like the 4 Horsemen were upon us. The USA is such a tired, played bitch. |
You mean CyberBunker.com
|
when you say they are crooks. in what way? I never heard of them before.

They do more harm than good. I can't stand people like that. They think they have the right to say what's wrong and what's not. If they don't like your 100% legal newsletter they'll block your shit and your business is fucked. Just like that. Same with those idiots from asacp. They don't like a thumbnail on your site? Bam, next day your site is offline. Edit: Edit AdultKing to that list. He fits right in. |

Unless thats Harmon. I always get you two confused. I do bet you put out, or used to, an interesting newsletter though. Internet is 80% spam right? |
Lindford is the exact same caliber of reject they will send after bitcoins. Oh no.

"you must have methods in place to identify anonymous complaints" :1orglaugh businesses should get together and sue spamhaus for loss of business...they have no place intercepting e-mails with a system that is costing legit businesses money... |

Dear idiots in this thread: here's your first clue on what Spamhaus is and what it does and does not do:
http://www.spamhaus.org/faq/section/Legal%20Questions Obviously everyone knows that, just as everyone in prison is innocent, spammers only ever send out 100% legit emails and are punished for it for no reason. Sadly for spammers, it's not up to spammers to decide what is junk; it's up to the people/service providers who have to receive (and endure the costs of) the shit that spammers spew out. Good luck with your lawsuits. |

im not going to tell you how but there is an easy way to discover a few spamhaus "honey pots"...you will need to sacrifice some resources but once you have the "honey pots" you can pretty much destroy your competition with little effort by subscribing to your competitions lists and giving a honey pot e-mail as your own... you will say "ah but you have to double opt in" because if you don't your competition will not send out to single opt in...again its a very simple trick to confirm opting in to your competition but still using a spamhaus honey pot... heres where the problem arises...they will NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT tell you who is complaining...you have to "have a way of addressing anonymous complaints" :1orglaugh this means that you if you have a list with 100.000 legit double opt in e-mails you are fucked...they do NOT care about you being a victim and they do NOT care about your previous efforts... they do some good work but it is no excuse...legit businesses have and will be victims of this and they fully know it... |

In future, before modestly trying to tell someone else that you know better than they do what they mean, at least learn the difference between infer and imply. |

Spamhaus just publish data to a service which may or may not be used by mail server admins. The reason most mail server admins use the service is because without it there would be a never ending flood of spam of uncontrollable proportions.

Seems they have a suspect. A Dutchman with a Swedish name driving around in a van in northern Spain. R They Sirius?

How did he create such a huge attack? What can he do that others don't?
|
Maybe it's just me, but the spam I still occasionally receive seems so pathetic. As I'm surfing the internet, I get embedded ads on the webpages I'm on that correspond to Google/Yahoo searches that I've recently done. And though not always interesting to me, they're at least somewhat relevant, and they seem to know where I live, my sex, and other demographic details.
The spam I get though is just laughable--buy recommendations for penny stocks touting how they'll be worth $26 a share in a few weeks, inquiries from Eastern European women who want to marry me and saying they're replying to ads that I never posted on dating sites I never joined. Penis enlargement pills. They're beyond lame. Maybe spammers are still making money--I can't believe it's a growth industry though... kinda like buggy whips in the early 20th century. |
