What's a typical C4S conversion ratio?
 

I'm trying my hand at a DIY clip-store and after 24 hours of traffic flow I haven't seen any conversions which is kinda freaking me out. Price point is $10 for 10 tokens, each video being 10 tokens at the moment. Price point might be too high but it's just a test at the moment to see how it works. I only have 1 video since it's been so problematic finding models for this niche, but I made it a Wordpress sticky so it's the first thing anyone sees when they hit the main page.

Today I killed the video preview, linking it directly to the join page. I also killed the preview images, linking all preview thumbs to the join page. We'll see what happens after another 24 hours.

Any idea what ratio I should be expecting? It's all SE traffic right now, "large labia" niche.

How much traffic are we talking? I cannot imagine that you have enough data to make any real conclusions.

$10 for one video? I know that a few people might pay that, but seems a bit much in a world where music and tv shows and hollywood movies are $1-5.

Hey there, I seen "C4S" and thought you were referring to Clips4Sale hence stopping by but then I noticed you state tokens and C4S don't do tokens.
Anyhow, with that being said......from my experience the average clip price point that sells best is around the $5-$8 mark and generally 8-15 mins in length but that is for fetish orientated content. I regrettably don't have much history with mainstream clip content.

It depends on the traffic source being provided/driven as well as the niche of the content. Obviously if you're content is hardcore it's not going to convert well if at all with teen or foot fetish niches.

As with anything, it's all trial and error so stick at it and you'll find your groove.

Well now that I took down the video preview at the top of the site, my average time on site has gone down the fucking toilet and is hovering around 41 seconds. Wonderful.
