Bing soon to be #1 in Free Porn. DMCA does not apply. Why?

Bing's video and image search engine is so powerful now, soon Bing will be the new standard in FREE porn, slowly wiping out tube sites.

Great selection, and no risk of nasty viruses as Bing flushes out their listings of any wrong doings.

So WHY IN THE FUCK doesn't the DMCA laws apply to Bing?

Google removes images, links and videos when owners submit DMCA, BUT...

Have you ever tried to get ANYTHING removed from Bing? LOL NO FUCKING CHANCE IN HELL.

Bing is above the DMCA laws, because Bing states: "We don't host images or videos, we are a search engine and only display what is already on the internet."

They have an online "DMCA" form to submit your requests, but it's all a front. If you submit urls and content links for removal, you'll just get a brush off email from Bing or Yahoo stating, "get the webmaster to remove your content, then it will 'fall off' the Bing search engine." But in the mean time, Bing and Yahoo can use YOUR CONTENT to help fill their porn libraries and raise traffic and value to their search engines.

Wasn't that the same reasoning Napster used before they got sued and lost it all? "We're not posting your music, our members are."

Why is Bing & Yahoo (both controlled by Microsoft), think they are above the DMCA laws?

Tubes wiped out porn sites, NOW Bing and Yahoo are going to wipe out tube sites.

Porn owners should then sue Microsoft and take their porn back! Why these companies feel they can take and use anything on the net for their own traffic is legally absurd. How can they get away with this? Go to Bing, click on video...remove the family filter, then type in any sexual depravity you can think of and Bing will deliver it faster, cleaner and virus free for your satisfaction.

The spiraling evolution of porn by the pure illegal dominance of a company more powerful than Big Brother.

Markul 03-24-2013 11:58 PM

People use bing? I thought they only did that in movies.

mospunk 03-25-2013 12:04 AM

Just gave it a go. Pretty crazy. The vid just plays in Bing with a link to the site. Gamechanger?

(Just when I was thinking of buying a tube script)

Phoenix 03-25-2013 12:17 AM

that sounds terrible...

Bing is not above the DMCA and we would be interested in reports with evidence of Bing not complying with DMCA removal requests. We even have a special mailbox for such information: [email protected]

Send us copies of the DMCA notices you have sent to Bing and any replies along with headers. Do not just use the online form, send a physical DMCA notice to them, or at the very least an email DMCA notice filled out precisely and with attention to detail as incorrectly filled out DMCA notices can be rejected.

Slappin Fish 03-25-2013 01:49 AM

it's been like that for a long time, Google already complained when the update rolled out in '09 that Bing would become the biggest porn site but it hasn't materialized, barely moved the needle.

What can your office do about this matter, if Microsoft is giving me the brush off?

Send them a DMCA and see what you get back... a FACE FULL OF SHIT.

I get patronizing emails from their staff stating, "get the website owner to remove the images and or videos, then the images will fall off our search engine."

Bing's DMCA submission form is a HUGE waste of time. Bing is NEVER going to remove a single fucking image or video because that's why Bing exists, to collect a huge free porn library for the public, while hiding behind "we don't post images, we're a search engine and only display what is already out there."

I'm open to suggestions other than sending in a "complaint" email. NOBODY gives a fuck about somebody complaining.

Can anything really be done?

The only thing I can think of now is to register mail hard copy of all the DMCA submissions, then after they refuse, higher a lawyer, which again, will be another waste of time and money.

MICROSOFT YOU FUCKING MOTHER FUCKERS KISS MY FUCKING ASS!!!!

Google is AWESOME!! They actually remove items within days.

If there is a lawyer out there reading this, you'll get your name in the papers picking up this lawsuit. I'm sure you can get a few hundred webmasters within days of announcing a class action suite against Microsoft.

Why do we have to let Big Brother take over the internet and let them get away with DMCA criminal violations???

Why do webmasters and producers just "give up" and not give a rat's ass?

This is why we live in a country that shoots 7 year old kids dead in school, and the adults can't pull their heads out of their asses long enough to ban assault rifles. Nobody acts, we all just talk and complain. "oh boo, hoo, we need our guns in case the government takes over..." LOL wake up assholes, the government already has taken over. Owning an assault rifle won't make a difference, except for the ease of shooting up a few more schools this year. I can only pray that one day one of those asshole senators gets their kid's heads blown off in school while they are lobbying against the ban on assault rifles. Time for some Karma to kick in.

Sorry for drifting off subject.

I have to direct this anger back at microsoft.

We can do a lot more than you can achieve by whining and ranting on a forum.

Given your rant it appears you're more interested in thumping your hands on the desk than following processes which may lead to a resolution of your issues.

baddog 03-25-2013 02:05 PM

AK told you what to do and you blew it off; he even specifically said to not use their online form. But it is too much trouble.

holy fuck. Biggest tube ever, and zero ads.

And re the above, we've all been so pissed off at times that it comes across as slapping a hand trying to help us, let the guy rant and get it out his system, then he may feel calm enough to try what was suggested :thumbsup

signupdamnit 03-25-2013 03:22 PM

I thought Bing will honor robots.txt? If they aren't then that would be a MAJOR scandal in the tech world. So if you want to totally ban them you can. I guess the question is can you prevent them from grabbing your videos while still allowing them to index your regular pages. But for those who really hate the way Bing is serving your videos I would ban them using robots.txt or something like <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">

looky_lou 03-25-2013 09:12 PM

Damn! I wish you wouldn't have posted this.

Now I spent all day watching full length porn clips instead of working on trying to sell the same shit I have been watching for free all day. :Oh crap

Jel 03-26-2013 03:36 AM

fwiw it doesn't do this from a mobile (sends you to the original site instead). Settled in for a wank early hours this morning, and had to go back to xhamster.

Rat King 08-15-2013 07:44 AM

I just saw Bing's video search for the first time. Is it the same from March when this thread was started or has it improved? I can surf ALL the tube sites at once and no advertisements. This is pretty unbelievable.

Holy shit. It is amazing. Just tried it myself. Luckily the average searcher still uses Google.

Rochard 08-15-2013 11:14 AM

What is bing?

Seriously, people use bing? I don't think I've ever even seen bing in my stats.

This is great. All tube webmasters should do that ASAP.

Tofu 08-15-2013 12:02 PM

They even categorize everything on the sidebar! Wowee! LOL!

I notice that popups still work.

valeriyCE 08-15-2013 12:09 PM

wow this is the best tube site. if regular users of tube sites knew about this, they would all steer away and never look back...

infact thats exactly what i will do

seeandsee 08-15-2013 12:09 PM

Sweet, BING is making tubes burn!

ExtremeBank_Adam 08-15-2013 12:12 PM

Looks like Bing does host the thumbnails for the videos, though. They don't simply "link" to infringing content.

Here's one of Alysha's thumbs:

http://ts2.explicit.bing.net/th?id=V...105&c=4&r s=2

FiReC 08-15-2013 01:43 PM

They are also hosting the little video previews on roll over as well

http://ts4.explicit.bing.net/th?id=O...8942&sort=date

can a spider be built to grab thumb/video urls for easy dmca?

uniquemkt 08-15-2013 02:48 PM

Looks to me like they're using embed functionality on sites that support it. Others you still get the roll-over preview, but you can't actually watch the video without clicking through. Anyone have an example that would indicate otherwise? Its entirely likely that I'm missing something.

bean-aid 08-15-2013 09:18 PM

Bing is a good starting point to dmca the original source.

I actually have a good project for dankasaur. Scrape bing and offer tube scripts.

_Lush_ 08-16-2013 07:56 AM

I see when you mouse over the video thumbnail you even get sound thats kinda cool. No ads will drive more traffic there as surfers evolve and learn to use Bing more often.

Magnetron 08-16-2013 08:26 AM

This is similar to Google hotlinking to full size images with their Image Search, which caused a decrease in surfers clicking through to image intense sites.

Less traffic is going to the major *user* Tubes now than they could actually be receiving.

It won't be the demise of these sites, but it will be a factor in their eventual demise.
