It depends what you are advertising.

Do you want to instantly double, triple, quadrupedal (etc) your investment through paid sign ups? (we all want)

Or rely on recurring sales to build over time.

Maybe just traffic for the sake of hoping it will catch on.

You could try Browsing JA for $1000.00 (or less) ad-spots on popular sites.
You can check the amount of us traffic each site gets, and maybe that would be an option (just a suggestion)

Just always be sure to check the feedback on that particular site, cause some convert like shit, but other are gold mines.

Also ad-spots can come in specific niche's for... lets say "Tube Sites", so be sure to check the sampleURLs provided by that site.

I'm not big into buying bulk direct traffic, since they could really screw you over with proxy servers and alike.

So the best way to go imo, is ads, or possibly interstitial ads.

But there are some good names in this thread, worth checking out what they have.

Buy "Plug" traffic from Plug Rush and set "niche" on your ads to whatever niche your site is, can also Geo filter.

Find sites in the directory at Juicy Ads that match the content of your site, make sure to look for the Geo bars and pick sites to advertise on that have high quality country traffic, alternatively you could do run of their network only selecting US as traffic source.

If you can add a tracking code on your links per advertising partner would be smart as then as time goes on you can increase ad spend to things working and decrease ad spend to those sources not working.

Not sure about Adult, but I doubt you could make 100% back investing in adult right now, given the current situation of the business.

There are at least 50 mainstream products that come to my mind, that you could just push with adwords + landing and make 3-4 times back. I'm not a 100% Adwords guy, but my last campaign in february made me 5 times back, after investing about 2K, with only 3 products.

Now tell me what Adult Product can give you that ROI nowadays? I can't think of any... But again, im not a PRO in adult, however, I have some knowledge about industry and their products.

Everyone wants to sell you their ref code and their product here, but let's hear honest opinions, without ref codes, that woud be more serious actually.

If you're asking that here, keep it in the bank.

You would have better luck buying a website that has at least a million alexa rank and skimming the traffic to your site.

Don't blow your budget on advertising i don't pay a dime for traffic and make sales.
