When I was about 11 some kid dared to inhale lighter fluid - Like a fucking idiot I did it - Worst hour of my life - I was convinced I was going to die.

Why people - adults even - do it again and again I can not imagine - It is truly horrific...

A few years ago I was playing with computer duster and turned the can over and sprayed some liquid on my garage floor, then lit it on fire.. It exploded and I inhaled a tiny bit and it fucking burned chemically for a little while.. :Oh crap

back in 09 i took a hit off a duster can while driving and crossed over 2 lanes and almost killed myself luckily the passenger pulled the wheel over before i hit a semi and killed both of us lesson learned dont huff duster

At a well known office supply mega store, the number of "cans" limit on buying computer duster spray is 6. So if you can off yourself with 1, why is there a 6 can limit? To "limit" sales in school yards?

Kids are impulsive and they do stupid things all the time. As a parent this is the scariest part because in our day most of the stupid stuff didn't kill anyone. Sad.

My great-grandfather, to get high, he and his buddies huffed gasoline (as far as anyone in my family reported during "stories about how past family members got high", they weren't addicts, it was just to get high). They drank homemade hooch, bathtub gin, etc. GGF turned out ok, became a stockbroker. Next generation, my grandfather. He said he and his buddies used to smoke fluoride toothpaste on cigarettes and eat raw green potatoes and nutmeg (some Navy sailor told them about the potatoes which is now known to cause solanine hallucinations and nutmeg which is now known to be similar to MDMA). Moral to the story, within every generation of kids, there will be those who will do whatever others are doing to get high. Lack of awareness of consequences or tribal rite of passage? Some just don't make it through.

Shit like this scares the crap out of me. I live in a nice town, low crime rate.... Yet we've had two incidents of drugs at my kid's middle school THIS WEEK.

A few months ago two high school kids broke into the middle school, the cafeteria, got high and turned on all of the water... flooding the building - $40k in damages. Dump stupid fucking kids... EVERYTHING was caught on video tape and they were both arrested hours later.
