sponsors requiring proof for payment
Is it normal for sponsors forcing you to prove you have enough resources and traffic to generate the amount of signups you did and holding your check until you do?
I spent about two hours butting heads with a program operator yesterday who had flagged my account as a cheater because the domain I hosted my sales page on didn't have high enough google PR. Anyone else? |
The only reason I could see a sponsor doing this is if they are prepaying you. Otherwise I haven't heard of this at all.

they're probably just worried you're carding them or some shit like that...
if you can push monster signups, then just show them your last sponsor's stats as an example, a 2min screen cap job should fix that right up.... |

The sponsor's either a total idiot or there's much more to it than simple Google PR. The large chunk of my sponsors sales come from pages with a PR or 0 or 1 simply because Google hasn't spidered them yet.

Thanks, I just thought it was pretty pathetic that I had to login to my registar and prove I owned more then one domain.

Rep, fix your sig.
