mojohost VS techiemedia

mojosthost doesn't reply to emails but they seem reputable. techiemedia answers promptly and their dedicated servers are 30% cheaper but I don't like the fact that it says "epassporte is accepted" on their main page.

Can you help?

Wizzo 03-19-2013 09:00 AM

Mojohost has always replied promptly to me, in fact I would say their CS is great.

sarettah 03-19-2013 09:06 AM

I know nothing about techiemedia. BUT Mojo has always answered any of my emails very quickly and have always been great on the tech support side. :thumbsup

.

SCOOTER 03-19-2013 09:08 AM

Sorry about that - I was off over the weekend and found your replied emails in the spam folder.

Please add me to Skype or ICQ .. it?s a lot faster reply :thumbsup

Techiemedia is the best. In 8 years, I have had one ticket go longer then 30 minutes. They are just amazing from the top down.

BareBacked 03-19-2013 09:13 AM

Mojo mojo !!

GAMEFINEST 03-19-2013 09:40 AM

They are both good

DWB 03-19-2013 09:55 AM

Never used Techiemedia, but I love Mojo. They always reply quickly to me and their support is awesome.

:winkwink: they both haven't updated their websites since 2003 or so :1orglaugh anyway, they are both reputable hosts :thumbsup

AJHall 03-19-2013 10:38 AM

I have a lot of customers hosted with both, more with Mojo than Techiemedia but both companies have good services and support staff and I've heard few if any complaints about either one of them over the years. :thumbsup

RebelR 03-19-2013 10:38 AM

Nothing but love from us for Brad and Scooter over at Mojo. They have never put a foot wrong in 3 years for us.

Same here. I have 6 dedicated boxes in mojo and some time I am a pain to them for support :)

CIVMatt 03-19-2013 12:17 PM

Mojo typically replies back to my tickets or questions before I can even hit the submit button so I don't know how you're trying to contact them.

I'm not a Techie Media customer anymore but always had a good experience with them in the past.

Personally I don't think you can do any better then Mojohost though.

Techiemedia is awesome

indeed :) I only have experience with Mojo, and I recommend them. Being with them since 5+ years ago :pimp

Doug of Montreal 03-19-2013 01:13 PM

We're with Mojo--and for great reasons. They always get the job done for us as customers. Not sure what non-client relations are like but I would be surprised to hear that they give anything less there.

HomerSimpson 03-19-2013 03:30 PM

if you judge by their websites - they are both really shitty...

SiMpLe 03-19-2013 04:46 PM

I gota go with MojoHost

fris 03-19-2013 04:52 PM

no one really talks about techie anymore.

but out of the two,i would pick mojo, since brad seems like a cool guy and knows what hes doing, if i needed a new host i would go with them ;)

Mutt 03-19-2013 05:18 PM

have a server at both - no problems with either of them, both are good responsive hosting companies.

RyuLion 03-19-2013 06:17 PM

Depending on what people do, once they hit a comfortable range they stop caring about certain things i.e. website design or aggressive ad campaigns. Similar to men that are macho to attract beautiful women, get married and then turn into fat fucks.
Once they get good, cozy, and reputed with well known factors, word of mouth and mild ad campaigns and showings do the rest.

Kovachi 03-19-2013 06:56 PM

techie hosts liveleak.com, anyone know the biggest site mojo hosts?

2MuchMark 03-19-2013 08:38 PM

Been using Mojo for about 6 months and so far no problems EXCEPT the fact that Scooter has yet to buy me a drink at any trade show. Son of a ...

Catalyst 03-19-2013 09:38 PM

DOn't know if it helps or not..

But I have know scooter for 10+ years, he one of my best friends in the business.. He has been with mojo for a long time and they do a GREAT job. Never been happier, I was a Network Security Admin, in my past job, and it takes a lot to make me happy, and mojo has done that..

Thank you all for your comments.

I have decided which host to choose but since I don't want to put either of these two great reputable companies
in a bad light I am not going say which one.

chaze 03-20-2013 12:59 AM

Ask how many sites they put on a server and test their network. Then test DWHS ;) and let us know.

GARY LEE 03-20-2013 04:57 AM

I host with mojo, gotwebhost, and softlayer. Mojo and gotwebhost both make it easy and no complaints, softlayer can be a pain in the ass once in awhile but for the most part they're good too.

:error We are talking dedicated server hostings, not those offering some shitty $2.99/month virtual plans so not sure what you mean.

We can look up the (new) IPs of the sites in your sig in 2 days time and figure it out anyway. :thumbsup
