Where are you at in Louisiana? I was born in Shreveport but my parents moved us out of the state before I was a year old.

No but the quality of the place has gone to shit. I live about 20 minutes south now and I wouldn't live anywhere in Shreveport. You have rich neighborhoods on one side of the street and complete ghetto on the other. Too much crime, too much bullshit. I don't feel safe letting my wife drive through there alone. There are a few OK places left but more and more neighborhoods are becoming "the hood". The casino's coming didn't help the crime rate either. A trip may be fun but you wouldn't want to live there.
