What is bitcoin?
 

Hey GFY,

I was looking around at things and came across something called boitcoins..
I found a place that looks like a link referral type of site, but uses bitcoins.

Thing is, there is no explanation of what it is or does, anyone have any ideas?

Bitcion is a great invention. Still has a long way to go especially with scaling and going mainstream but there are some of the smartest people out there working on it.
