Yea it looks clean and all but I think you would need to add a link for us to view what kind of content we can use to promote the site(s).

The first thing I do is check out the content I can use to promote a site. If it's good I usually sign up.

That's most likely whey buddy didn't get pass the first page - nothing to draw him in with.

well, actually, that's party due to the fact that i'm lazy, but no, there wasn't anything to draw me in. but, it's different if you're targeting me personally. in that case....


no, there's nothing here to grab my attention. it looks like everything else in that respect. 50% recurring and a $20 referral? there are many other offers out there that are more inticing, especially due to my perhaps hermitdom of not knowing this program.

to me, something has to stand out. maybe it's just something stupid but witty, or has an exceptional offer. then again, i don't know much about this niche or whatever, so maybe that's the reason why it isn't real interesting.

the other thing is the xbox isn't that real interesting, either. i know by everything else out there that throwing my name into a hat to win something has never won me anything before, and thus probably won't this time. and, since i spend all my time on my computer, computer parts would be more interesting.

your 'our sites' page has a lot of text on it.. and since the first page wasn't that enticing, i'm not too interested in spending all that time on reading it. and the screenshot of the site is too small to really tell what's going on.

now, i'm not a marketing pro or anything like that, so this is merely my reasons of why it didn't interest me. but, maybe this stuff works on the masses.


i do like the basic design... it's a thin line between asthetics and functionality that one must walk, and this does pretty well.

html based loads faster then graphically based sites and appeals to more people - but don't tell the design heads on GFY that.

so who won the xbox

i remember when i used to optimize my html code even... boy was i silly.

Thanks for the input, we have a link on our page called promo tools, that shows our banners and such, perhaps we should put samples of our free content too? rather than making you signup first to get access to it.

We didnt use a template by the way, our designer designed it. Thanks for the input so far, we will try to think of something more enticing and will be giving out several different types of prizes in the future.

We will be picking the winner for the xbox next week, I bet its someone from GFY, as thats where we first mentioned it!

I suggest you try to entice a webmaster by stating something like "Tap into a new source of revenue!" etc. Most people won't realize that you could simply stick a small ad button for a dating site and get surfers interested.. You need to sell the sell. :)

Btw, I realize you do mention this in your text - but it's a few sentences in. I'd suggest making it more of an instant thing viewers see, or become aware of.. :)
