Sponsor Question: Do you pay PPS on Gift card sales?

Most are hard to differentiate between GC and normal CC sales but some members put "Gift Card" as first as last name - The upgrade or retention on these are slim to none -

Are you paying normal PPS on those trial sales? If not - what is your strategy with these?

Affiliates - what are your thoughts on this?

Defaulting to revshare on GC sales seems fair.

that's what i was going to say also when using giftcards or prepaid cards chances are there won't be a rebill so make it revshare also chances are there will be no charge backs.

As long as you change it in the TOS it is something an affiliate has to deal with as we know the program isnt going to make the same amount of money. But if it isnt in the TOS. If an affiliate sends a sale they send a sale. You tell them they get $35 PPS, Its not up to the affiliate to make sure the person has a CC that can be rebilled. Its there job to get the person to sign up. They did their job. They might not rebill. But you now can market them via email, which im sure most programs do. It is possible this user might sign up with a different giftcard or a CC in the future. Would the affiliate get Revshare on that? Probably not.

Its a tricky situation.
