the walking dead last night
wtf? this was super super super slow :mad::mad:
|
You have to have a calm before the storm. If every episode was all action it would get old fast. Personally, I would have shot the Governor directly in the chest and hoped that my guys outside the building could handle the others when they heard the gunshot. I would not give up Michonne.
They have the advantage at the prison by a longshot. They're dealing with lots of people with no combat experience, and they have all those new weapons and ammo. Hopefully they took some of those grenades too. I would hide Darrel and Michonne in the woods to sneak up from behind the Governor's crew after the battle starts. |
After season one, that shit just got too boring imo. It was like watching melroes place with all that drama.

Watched this episode last night, halfway through I was praying Zombies would eat my face

That's not to say there aren't some character inconsistencies. For example Rick shot Shane, his BEST friend when it was clear that it was gonna be Shane or him, then didn't think twice about burying a machete on the convict's head for the same reason. So why didn't he simply shoot the governor when he had the chance? Minor bitching because obviously they won't have the governor (most probably) die before next season. |
Slow but still worth watching
|
I thought it was okay this time. The episode before this one was excellent. The mid-season premiere was pretty bad.

I lost interest after the first episodes of the new session

I love how they build up storyline and plot and take their time developing it and their characters. You know...kinda like reading a novel.
Y'all are too used to 12-second news bites and MTV. |
OI!!! We are an episode behind you lot in the UK!
|
Can't wait to watch this next episode
|
it sucked--it should pickup though

|
They are moving people into position for a battle.

I enjoy WD as much as I liked Battlestar Galactica or now enjoy Breaking Bad - both which some also complained at times was or is too slow.
All action mean no character dev which means meaningless action so I would much rather have the plotting. Just for the record, Rick is trying to pull back from becoming just like the Governor so it makes sense that he would spare him rather than metaphorically become him. |
I never had any interest to watch em
