Tubeace and Pseudo Streaming
Has anyone gotten video seeking figured out with the flowplayer setup using Tubeace? I have tried multiple versions of Flowplayer and have the Apache h264 streaming plugin installed on my server but no go.
Much appreciated. Paully ps The developer Chris H is no help even when he responds, Certified my host has no idea and thinks its a script issue, I dont. I think its a server/player config issue. |
nope, but is that not to do with the way the source video is enoded? I also cant get the thumbs to generate/perform that slideshow effect.

I have no idea how tubeace works, but flowplayer works perfectly with apache + mod_flv_streaming + mod_h264_streaming + mod_auth_token
Check you apache logs for requests like /path/file?start=... (if you use mod_auth_token, then it should be something like /path/token/expire/file?start If you have these requests then the player is doing its part, and there is something wrong on the server. |
Exactly, it has nothing to do with the script.

Much appreciated. I found a guy on Freelancer that has dealt with this before. It was a player config issue along with a faulty flowplayer build. He got it working in 20 minutes. I recommend you get a hold of this guy if you have similar issues. He is also developing a kick ass tube script with his own custom player.
