If he was up to date she might be in some trouble, but likely a slap on the wrist. But seeing as he "finally" paid, she'd have been covering his end and should be rightfully reimbursed.

why is that, she may have forgone all personal niceties over the last 14 months while Juan refused to send support, using all her money to make sure the child has everything it needed. working 3 jobs while also being a full time student and the primary and only care giver for the child as Juan decided to fuck off. Now that the deadbeat dad finally anted up and paid the support he owed, she has every right to use some of that money. (provided the kid has everything it needs)

I used to have to deal with a bitch like that. New wardrobe every time a cheque was sent. Unfortunately there's nothing illegal about what she has done. She can spend the money how she sees fit as long as the child isn't being neglected. Sadly in my case I had to write her a cheque and then still was on the hook for making sure he had everything he needed, since she couldnt budget her money worth a shit.

Just the Average American Woman, have a kid(Money maker) and collect free money just because. If she was in such need, she would have spent the money on the child. But then again, she's probably dead broke and finds a pair of shoes and nails something worthy of bragging about on FB. Sad

Yea she is really a big old bitch. She spent a whole $60 dollars on some Toms shoes and then spent another $40 on her nails for a total of $100 of late coming child support money.
