Tool to manage multiple WP blogs?

I've messed around with a few, new found any that I was really impressed with....can be desktop based or online.

Anyone have something they like?

I find that blogdesk is easy to use, simple interface and feature rich. You can write simple posts, you can format the posts, create templates, insert custom fields etc. And the user interface is extremely friendly.

www.blogdesk.org

edit: this is more for posting. You cannot edit widgets, links etc... just for posting..

Don't think there's anything out there with the same features and value as ManageWp.com, but it's not cheap, definitely for those with profitable networks. We were reluctant to move to it, but now can't imagine life without it.

I was referring to ManageWp. There are various versions depending on the amount of features and the amount of blogs you manage/operate.

You can get the enterprise version of managewp and rebrand as you wish, such as how Sick Network has likely been done. They may have a different version, I just know the menus look identical.

wouldnt it be better to use a whitelabel that has all the features, and pay less 1 time fee?

It would come down to features as I doubt Sick has all the same features and/or updatesfor that price. ManageWP has done a lot of upgrades recently, but who knows, they may have it.

I've just installed it and before I buy addon, do you know is it possible to create posts with nextgen gallery plugin? I mean, what to do if this won't let me create galleries?

In June of last year when we first moved over to ManageWP the price was $10k for 10k sites on self-hosted Enterprise version followed by a 50% discount for subsequent years. This included full installation, support, and unlimited updates and upgrades. The also had options for 500, 1000, 5000, but we didn't ask about those.

No, we had plans to convert a large part of our network from blogs over to tubes, pinboards, and a variety of other site styles so we didn't think it was necessary. We also only use the professional level packages as we have our own analytics so it was more cost effective long term.

WPMU is a simple way to centralize all dashboards for free, or ManageWP if you want a nice paid solution.

ManageWP is the way to go!

But when adding post, you can't choose category where post should go (with their addon)
