The Navajo Nation is demanding an apology after a joke aired on CBS? ?Mike & Molly? referring to Native Americans as ?drunk Indians.?

In the episode that aired last week, Mike?s mother Peggy, who is played by Rondi Reed, quipped, ?Arizona? Why would I move to Arizona? It?s nothing but a furnace full of drunk Indians.?

A spokesperson for the Navajo Nation told TMZ Sunday, ?For a show like this displaying us in a negative light is just unacceptable, they are taking a shot at the entire state of Arizona and its indigenous people.?

The rep added, ?An apology would be the right thing to do, but some damage done can?t be fixed in an apology.?

CBS and the producers for ?Mike & Molly? did not immediately respond to ABCNews.com?s request for comment.

If they had used New Mexico the natives would have to shut up... Who here has driven through Albuquerque and waited hours in line on the 40 or further south on the 10 for sobriety checks. Drunk drivers are a serious issue there. Probably why show used AZ.

First off Mike and Molly constantly make fat jokes and since I could lose a few pounds maybe I should get my lawyer to sue over my mental stress. LOL.
Second I see it as indians have been handed millions of dollars with a monopoly gambling business for their areas and us poor fat white guys are being discriminated against by not being able to do the same. Those indians can go fuck themselves.

If you want to know who has the issue... look at who's complaining the loudest. Life really is that simple. A healthy, well adjusted person doesn't get offended about everything and expect the world to change in accordance to their personal problems and insecurities. A bitter, selfish, insecure person with low self esteem does. Making sure they never get insulted does not raise their self esteem or make them more secure with themselves. A joke is a joke. End of story. If you're offended, then you're the problem, no matter what the content of the joke is.

Ok, here's one :

A White guy, Black guy and an Asian guy climb to the top of suicide peak vowing
to commit an act of sacrifice.
When they reach the top the Asian guy screams "This is for my people!" and
jumps to his death. The White guy then screams "This is for my people!" but the
Black guy screams "Wait! It's my turn!". The White guy yields and nods OK.
The Black guy then screams "This is for my people!" and throws the White guy off.

Some people need to get a fucking life if they're gonna make such a big deal over such a thing. Like people say, it's a sitcom, trying to be funny, it's not like it was something serious like a presidential debate.

I used to watch that show, but haven't in a while after finally realizing that it's just not that good of a show. Mike (the big lead actor) poked fun at his own size quite a bit in early episodes, I'm surprised no bigger people started shit because he was making fun of bigger people.

A lot of insensitive people here. I can't believe that "joke" made TV.

They have every opportunity to get off the reserve, get an education and find a job like anyone else but they still feel entitled because 100's of years ago their ancestors got screwed. well get over it, its not going to get them anywhere but keep them in poverty.

And 100 years from now, after they have left the reservation and are laid off by

I'm not suggesting they give up the land. Individuals don't own land in a reserve. Its owned by the band as a whole. There are no opportunities on reserves. The smart ones get out and go to university for virtually free but the rest struggle and smuggle and live lives with short expectation. i don't believe certain groups of people should be treated differently because of what happened so long ago. we're all here now with the same goals. the world in which those treaties were made is dead and gone. all the land claims they make these days are pathetic. none of the current land owners had anything to do with it.

Yet you don't complain about 3.5 Billion of aid a year to Israel so they can get their "native land" back.

Bottom line : Natives got shot up and robbed and you hate living with the fact that
you live on stolen shit, so you blame them for complaining about their conditions.
You want them to accept being robbed and shot and shut the fuck up forever.
But that won't happen.
