I have the S3 and I feel like I'm walking around with a book in my pocket. But I've also got a pretty thick case on it, so that adds to it.

I love my s3! I am so glad that I went with it instead of an iphone.

dayum at those specs , looks like my phone is outdated.

Hopefully they make it sturdier than the S3. Mine has a massive crack down the center of the screen already just from a fall of about 3 feet off a desk. Pathetic. I've accidentally thrown my old Motorola Atrix across the room and that sucker never had a mark.

Still very happy with my http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexus_S I own since early 2011. It runs cyanogenmod android 4.2.2, absolutely latest, and all the apps I need, including nintendo emulators with relevant roms.

FYI: Samsung does NOT manufacture all non-apple devices.

S3 is ok but is so damn big. Hard to text in more then 1 position.

It amuses me that people feel the need to go out and buy the latest phone whenever they come out. I have an upgrade at Verizon, and yet my Android is working fine for me and does everything I need. I check email on it, read the news when I'm bored, lots of texts, and of course phone calls. I don't need "the newest phone".

I think we're just arriving at the point where upgrading is less necessary. I tried to use an iphone 3G as a loaner while I was waiting for my Nexus4 to arrive and it was so slow it was basically useless. I don't know if I had a bad one or what, but really, it was brutal, and I'm a pretty patient guy. I don't need the latest and greatest.

My Nexus4 was $350 without a contract, and now I can't imagine needing a better phone. It's responsive, looks great, feels great, functions well, now I'm happy.

Computers are the same way now too. Why upgrade?

But for people with older gen phones, the new ones are really that much better still at this point in time.

S3 is big but its really a great phone... can't wait to get my hands on S4...

Not sure if I'll get the S4 or wait till the next gen Note, as my contract ends in October. All I can say is that I'm definitely getting a Samsung - well anything is better than Blackberry now :p.

I think I'll be able to do a little more with an S4 or Note after a girl sits on my face - take pics, modify the pic, and send away!

I heard they will have the option of putting a full version of Ubuntu on it so you can dock it and use it as a fully fledged desktop.

I have 4S, Android & Blackberry, next phone will be 5S, it just works :1orglaugh

Right - my friend on my softball team had 2 S3s go out within 3 weeks before he traded for the iPhone 5 and now swears by the iphone and iOS after having it for 2 months. It just works.

I have the LG Optimus G and it kicks ass!

Anything larger then iPhone 5 i have macbook air that covers that.
