everybody tells me paying 600 bucks for a phone is stupid

i did it and i got a really bad fone. but if you can get more out of yo ur phone like a pda or camera or even a mp3 [player then its good money

if you have been with them that long you should be able to get a free upgrade or at least a very cheap one.

I just bought the basic nokia and bought a cool cover for it. I don't need an expensive phone. I'll just wait and get a Japanese one that I can swap out my sim card with.

well, you must have thought it was worth $600 or you wouldn't have bought it... if it helps you do what you need it to do, then you should be happy with it. But personally, there's no way in hell I'd pay $600 for a cell phone... I don't care what features it has... no phone is worth that.

I don't like cellphones, that's why I don't have one (and I don't need). But if I were going to buy one, max I would pay would be 100 bucks. Thats would buy me a nice phone.

Like Amp said, you can get them free. Same damn phone and everything. As a matter of fact I have one like it and got it free.

I use to work in the cellular Ind for years and I can tell the price of the phone not the way they make profit. They make there money from signing you and getting your cell activated.

Back when I was in it, the sales reps would give the phones away free just to get the $300 to $500 comish for activating the cell number.

So yes $600 for a cell phone wwaaayyyy to much.

the market down here is pretty exhausted... the phones you get for "free" are the ones being 2 years old

with a 24h month contract this one would still have cost me $250

I've had several phones but I find the worsed problems is going under bridges on the water canals? and the wind factor where I reside? I don't think I would spend that sorta bucks on a phone?
