do you edit ref links when signing up

On a forum like this or at the bottom of peoples websites, do you clear cookies or edit the ref link because you feel the people are jews

I dont, but ive done it before because I hated the person

CyberHustler 03-03-2013 08:15 PM

I don't. Whoever refers me gets credit.

How do you know it's a Jew's link; is the icon a yarmulke or something?

AllAboutCams 03-03-2013 08:28 PM

Why would you edit the link if they have been helpful give them some credit

dont understand that logic. I mean fraud will happen but I dunno why youd risk banning legit business.

anyway i recently became more thoughtful of this because Ive gotten good money from referrals (not AWE), and its helped me. If its not spam I have no problem with signing up under someone else. For example those that promote a site and put a webmaster link in the footer, thats fine because I always look for it if interested. or sigs here.

Link spammers, fuck no. shits getting edited bro

My Fucking Traffic 03-03-2013 08:31 PM

I've removed ref links of people who spam.

EddyTheDog 03-03-2013 08:31 PM

GFY is 90% people who live on affiliate referral income either as an affiliate or a program owner - I am not sure that its going to be a popular idea....

Captain Kawaii 03-03-2013 08:48 PM

If I am referred by someone I give em credit. Why not? Its nice to pay it forward sometimes.

I dont care, i dont suck dicks

programs live off of getting people to refer. they dont actually care if you have someone linked to you. Thats more cash in their wallet.

what if you got a spam email that tricked you into opening it, but you ended up interested in the program. would you sign up under the spammer.

im just curious about this subject

lucas131 03-03-2013 08:55 PM

In that case, I'd clear all cookies before signing up, because I was mislead into the signup.

rogueteens 03-03-2013 08:58 PM

i'm a sig whore, not in that i post just to get my sig out there but in that i just cannot help but click away on other peoples sigs to see what they have (and i don't cut out ref codes)

nah im not talking about sigs tho. Ads, sigs, footers at the bottom of webpages. Those I would consider to be offerings. Look if youd like.

Im just wondering if youd ever edit a link. Like say if you hated the person, or disagreed with the person. Say if they were jewish and you knew it and disliked jews. would you still sign up and basically work for them

pornsprite 03-03-2013 09:43 PM

I never edit the reference code.

Mr Pheer 03-03-2013 09:58 PM

Nope, I dont do that. It doesnt cost me anything to sign up under someone's ref link. The guy that referred me to AFF made a shitload for just posting a link in ICQ.

The guy that referred me to Clickcash years back made a shitload as well.

A guy that I referred to AFF, decided to change his links later to a different account. He made a shitload but I didnt get the referral bonus. That is the kind of guy that you refer to as a "fucking cocksucker"

tokmansta 03-05-2013 12:06 PM

Some people just hate it when other people get something or are just happy, its the sad truth...

Spam e-mail. No way. If someone posts on a board though and I click the link, seldom do to be honest, and I join the program it doesn't bother me to give credit. A few people have signed up under me for a couple programs and we make weekly sales/credits from it. Its an extra lunch. Nice.

PornDiscounts-V 03-05-2013 02:58 PM

I don't have time to worry about that shit.

helterskelter808 03-05-2013 03:59 PM

That's a waste. I always replace their ID with the ID I will use when I sign up.

Lonny 03-05-2013 04:13 PM

Answer is No.
Waist of time if you ask me.
I mean why cut the REF out / clear cookies switch
browsers and so on just to cut someones income.

Because some people are spamming fucktards and just because they spammed a sponsor that I want to sign up for doesn't mean their driveby shit is worthy of getting my referral.

I'll strip the referral out or even ask someone I know for their ref code...

Spammers don't deserve to make money off my hard work... :2 cents:

I doubt that was intentional, he probably needed that other account and did not do that so you would lose ref income.
