Poor cat has to suffer because it was overfed.

The laughing piglet is doing so out of insecurity.

Yeah WTF is up the the owner? 13 is old for a cat and cats are usually very afraid of water. She's putting alot more stress on the poor thing. She needs to stop over feeding it and put it on proper food for a cat that age.

That newscaster should consider a few laps herself.

Have them catch their own food, does wonders.

Interesting idea... my cat is 17.5lbs., and pre-diabetic. I don't have a pool, but live three blocks from the Pacific... maybe I should teach him to surf?

Had two cats that lived to their 20th year...13 is just a few years past middle age, in my experience.

But either way - yeah, makin' a cat swim puts needless stress on an animal. Probably shorten its lifespan more than being overweight.

Thats amazing... my 2 previous cats both lived until 17, but were quite sick so we had to put them down. *sad*

That is pathetically cruel, says as much about the dumb slut laughing at it on the newscast as the retard owner.

17 is a good age. 20 is the upper edge of old age. We had a 7yr old we had to put down after she (suddenly) developed liver and kidney failure - almost overnight. That was a sad time.

At the moment our oldest is 15 - and she's still very spry and active.
