Where can I pickup a gun at Fort-Lauderdsale airport???

... or an AR-15 or similar weapon.

I will be in Florida for a few weeks and I care to respect the 2nd amendment .

I wish to be able to " stand my ground " and defend my home and family while residing there .
I would also be able to protect/save lives if an incident occurs, as I am a law abiding person.

So basically, is there a " rent-a-gun " at the airport ... or should I buy one in a pawn shop for the few weeks, then selling it off to the highest bidder ???

Leaving Tuesday, so please help me protect myself.:thumbsup

Blue dumpster, out back of terminal 2. It will be wrapped in newspaper.

As a non-USA citizen not residing in the USA you cannot legally buy any type of firearm.

No licensed FFL dealer would sell a firearm to you.

Were you to buy a firearm illegally, you should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of both federal and state law.

Craigslist does not allow the advertising of firearms for sale and is diligent in removing listings which contain them.

What about those small caliber pistols? In many countries you can buy them freely (like you buy gas pistols)

Well, looks like I will have to be satisfied with a bow & arrow ....
I pay many taxes in the USA, but I am left completely defenseless to confront the bad guys ... and will only be able to `don't stand your ground and run '.
:Oh crap

I have a similar question... How do you transport your firearms to a new home? Say you purchased a second house in Hawaii and the only way there is by flying. Can you arrange with the airline to have them shipped there? USPS? Fed Ex?

You can carry unloaded weapons in your checked baggage but you must declare them

Airlines prefer a hard cased container made for guns with a lock on it. Declare the guns, ship as checked baggage, lock case. No problem.

I've taken shotguns and pistols all over the place.

Edit: Make sure the places you land have compatible gun laws. (don't go flying into LaGuardia for example)

Yes you can ship firearms on a flight, you Must arrange it before hand, ha...

I am in a big hunting state, and our airport has signs in the baggage claim area that states "Firearms to be picked up at security desk"
