I have a few GTX 550 Tis and a 660 Ti, they render video incredibly fast, the 660 about 3 times faster than the 550s.. I wonder how much better this card would be.

GXT Titan is about 40% faster than GTX 680

I would just get another 7970 and it would be faster. In fact you could get two 7970's for less I imagine.

two issues with that:

- AMD sucks (it's going out of business)
- The added frame latency is a huge issue with 7970 crossfire, there is hard data to support it as well: http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphic...date/Pricing-T

Having said that, the card is indeed overpriced, but it's the fastest single-GPU card out there.

AMD won't be going out of business anytime soon and their newest drivers have fixed a lot of problems. Their new game packages a KILLING it too.
