Does anyone after reading this board wonder why the US is in such trouble? The US person just wants to scream their point. It doesn't matter if it is right, or sort of right or even dead wrong, the US person just wants to be heard. That is great sometimes but where is the part where you listen? Where you try to resolve your views with the other side and some actual progress happens?

On a serious note, I agree with the OP - drugs in all their forms ARE more dangerous than guns, with regards to how many will die as a direct result of at first using them exactly as they are designed to be used.

In both cases it really depends on who is using them and how.

Misusing prescriptions is illegal. Just as misuse of a gun is illegal.
