GEO-IP for mobile traffic?

Any of you guys using geo-ip for your mobile traffic?

Does it work well for targeting a surfer's location.. or is it pretty far off?

I've only been able to test with my personal phone, and it gets my city right. But I live in a large city so that's not surprising.

I've only tested with my own phone as well, normally shows me in a City about 1,500 kms away, so pretty far off. That is using Maxmind which is the best as far as I know.

What kind of script are you using? There are scripts out there which are pretty accurate!
