Utterly amazing.... Two "police cars" pulled up to a plane, stole $350 million worth of diamonds at gun point, and then fled....

Shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, two black vehicles with blue lights resembling police transport pulled up to a Helvetic Airways Fokker 100 jet plane, operating for Swiss International Air Lines, that had just been loaded, according to Belgian prosecutor Ine Van Wymersch and other people familiar with the events.

Eight masked men with machine guns held the ground staff, crew and passengers at gunpoint as they forced security workers to open the plane's cargo door. The men selectively removed at least 120 packets of diamonds, Ms. Van Wymersch said. The vehicles then sped away. No shots were fired and nobody was hurt in the theft, she said.

The jews prop up the retail market with scarcity. But when one tries to sell back their $10K worth of diamonds suddenly they are worth a lot less.

I wouldn't doubt if it was them stealing from themselves to keep up that perceived value of the silly stones.

Very true, especially if you buy small, less than perfect stones under 5 carats, (since smaller and more flawed stones are as common as pebbles on a beach). If you are dumb enough to buy them.

I love these kinds of crimes - total precision. Two black SUV with police like lights on them entered the airport through a fence they cut (?) and drove right up to the airplane. They spent 11 minutes on the airport grounds itself, and only three minutes in the plane. Neat and tidy, although you can just imagine they must have people in the airport watching that plane so they would know exactly when to strike.

the way Europe works and the way Belgian police works it is actually very doubtfull they will ever get caught

and even if one of them actually does get caught, it is is very doutbfull any of the diamonds get found
