difference between ranking in google and bing

so i got this tube site that ranks very good in Bing, but is nowhere to be found in google...
since the search im trying to rank for generates 110k search queries a month, my question is...what is the difference between bing and google?
i'd rather rank high in google, because i dont have search volumes for bing, and it seems to me that google searches are a lot more used then bings

any tips?

usually if you rank on bing and not google its because one of the google filters where triggered. Could be a panda or a penguin. But that's just a guess without knowing more details. My theory is that one of the main issues over the last year is too many inbound links. If you have a new site with not much traffic and a hundred links you are going to trigger a filter. But there are a ton of factors. There is a good podcast called march of the penguin by Joe Finn. If you want to understand in more detail go through both parts 1 and 2. They are not expensive. I think the guy has a hearing issue cause he talks funny but it's very extensive and in my experience 99% on target.

Newer sites seem to take forever to rank in bing. Google picks up the site much quicker. Is this an older site? Also, if older, very possible google may have flagged something along the way.
