FPCTraffic announces Trusted Advertisers program to combat malware
I just posted this to the news section for our publishers;
"February 12, 2013 - Although we have both proactive and reactive systems in place to detect malware and illegal content from advertisers at FPCTraffic, occasionally an advertiser will be able to slip in a bad landing page. Many times these are geo- and/or time-targetted. We usually can catch these right away, but not always with 100% effectiveness. Therefore, we have implemented a Trusted Advertisers program for our skimmed traffic publishers. If you are sending us skimmed traffic, and want to ensure that no malware or illegal sites are shown to your surfers, please contact us, and we'll show you how to implement this. Since the pool of advertisers for your traffic will be smaller, we may have to lower your rate of pay. But, this will be done on a case-by-case basis." We had this request from many publishers. If anyone has any questions, just hit me up! |
Good idea

Well done Ravo.
We do something similar at Trafficshop. We let the publishers decide who they sell traffic to based on account status, many opt to only send to VIP or Trusted buyers as cheaters occasionally slip through on new accounts. |
Great stuff from one cool guy. nice stuff Ravo!

Yeah, some of the requests for malware landing pages I've rec'd are getting out of hand. I had one guy offer me $16/K for popunder traffic if he could load malware. I, obviously, told him to F**K OFF. |

Great to hear! I'll take another look at FPCtraffic. With some of the others it's getting very dangerous to use popunders on important projects where just one user getting malware can be enough to cause all sorts of negative publicity. In my opinion if someone is knowingly distributing malware they need to be reported to authorities and held accountable for the damages site owners and ad networks incur to their reputations.

Yes seen sites which depending the time of the day or country you come from, will display ok or malware page; further I even seen some in a skimmed blind network, which shows different page depending on http referer i.e., if you go to the domain from browser type in or google, it shows ok (so for network or anyone to check it), if it comes from a link in other site of network (and they got mirrored db of network sites to check from), it shows the bad page, this is evil for sure.
Trade traffic is interesting job but I prefer not to be into it :) |

I just got this malware warning
http://www.fpctraffic2.com/raw/click...ccount=erojunk Personally I prefer plugrush, their system is WAY more advanced than the others...everyone has malware, but they seem to get rid of it fastest |

Hit me up, and I'll give you the new linking code, or see inside the fpctraffic admin for alternate linking codes. |
I just wanted to bump this, as we had a few publishers ask us recently.
